I would like to Thank the officers and committee for the honour to judge their show this year at the new venue for them. Boarder Terrier Class 173 Junior 4/3 1st Riseburn Rumour on Hobill - Mrs S Pickerin -Best Puppy Strode into the ring with the eager confidence of a youngster who already knows she belongs here. Head carried proudly, eyes bright with that unmistakable Border Terrier keen expression. Well‑proportioned head, dark eyes alive with curiosity and determination. Expression is classic: alert, kind, and ready for work. The muzzle is strong without coarseness, and scissor bite is clean and correct. Watched the judge with a spark. Narrow, spannable body with a firm, level topline that holds true both standing and on the move. Pelt is thick and pliable, coat texture is harsh enough to withstand the day's scrutiny. Shoulder placement is well laid back, giving freedom in front, and loin is strong for age. settled quickly into a purposeful stride. Moved true coming and going, driving well from behind with a tidy, economical action. There is no flashiness—just honest, efficient movement. 2nd Bigginpeak asbradelel-Mrs J &Mr D Lings Pleasing outline, free from over‑refinement, correctly proportioned, and retain the functional, unspoilt look. Skull strong yet not coarse muzzle. Expression is keen and varminty, aided by dark, well‑set eyes. Clean and narrow, with good rib layback and span. Correct harsh texture, with tidy presentation. Class 174 Post Graduate 3/2 1st Fryerfold Morsgill-Mrs S J Stephenson A very promising young bitch of correct type, showing quality in all essentials. Her coat and pelt are exceptional, her structure is balanced and typical, and her movement—though youthful—shows the potential for real ring presence. 2nd Haystoun Perfect Storm- Red grizzle dog of pleasing size and balance, presenting a typical, workmanlike outline. Head of correct proportions, moderately broad with a strong muzzle and correct dentition, giving a keen and alert expression. Neck of good length, flowing cleanly into well‑laid shoulders, allowing him to be easily spanned. Class 175 Limit 2/0 Class 176 Open 2/2 1st IR CH Nottorg Nekesa CW24 -BOB A top Border Terrier, the sort of bitch who immediately commands attention for her correct size, balance, and unmistakable breed type. She stands over plenty of ground without any hint of exaggeration, and her outline—both stacked and on the move—shows the kind of honest construction that separates the merely good from the genuinely outstanding. 2nd Morley's Miss Zeva - Miss A & Miss A Dawson & Speake A very typical young bitch of pleasing size and balance, presenting a clean, workmanlike outline. She is feminine without weakness and shows the essential qualities of correct Border Terrier type. Her head is well proportioned, displaying a true otter‑like character, with a dark, keen eye and tidy ears that frame her expression beautifully. Muzzle strong yet not coarse, giving her the correct combination of femininity and capability. She comes to hand well, with a good skull and strong jaw. Well balanced, with a straight front, clean shoulders, and a level topline that she holds both standing and on the move. Ribs are well carried back and easily spanned, showing correct shape and functional build. Hindquarters are racy and well‑angulated, giving her the ability to stride out with purpose. Coat is of excellent texture, harsh and dense, with a thick, pliable pelt, enhancing her workmanlike appearance. Jacket quality is already notable and should only improve with maturity. On the move she is true and steady, covering the ground with ease once settled. Shows good reach and drive.

Head well proportioned with a domed skull, soft expressive eyes, and a clean, silky topknot. Strong muzzle with correct bite. Neck of moderate length leading into well‑laid shoulders. Body long and flexible with the correct rise over the loin. Hindquarters well muscled, enabling true movement with good drive and clean front reach. Coat of proper pencilled texture and neatly presented. A sound, honest Dandie showing good breed type throughout. His head is long, flat and well‑filled, giving a keen, alert expression. Shoulders well laid, forehand straight and tidy, with a firm topline carried true on the move. Hindquarters strong and purposeful, providing positive drive. Movement straight, light and effortless, maintaining his outline throughout. Coat harsh, dense and expertly prepared. A quality dog who shows with confidence Glen Of Imaal Terrier Post graduate 1st Wilgusbin Wonder -Mrs M E 7 Mrs G Fobister & Davies BP Balanced, workmanlike outline, typical of the breed and free from exaggeration. Strong head with depth of muzzle and a keen, honest expression. Forehand is well‑constructed with good width and strength; hindquarters powerful and used effectively on the move. Maintains a level topline at all times. Coat harsh and well‑prepared. In this class he stood out for his overall type, soundness, and ring composure, showing maturity and readiness for higher competition. 2nd Amhard Utterly Upbeat- Mrs A & Mrs J A Hardy & Tune Deep through the chest, well‑ribbed back, and carrying the correct length without appearing long. The topline is firm and level, flowing cleanly into a strong, slightly sloping croup. He stands with natural confidence, showing the essential "no fuss, no frills" Glen character. The head is powerful yet not overdone, with a strong foreface and keen expression. Eyes are well‑set, dark, and intelligent, giving him that unmistakable Glen determination. Class 183 Open 4/4 1st Ch Cazcade and so it Begins -Mrs L M Pryce BOB Class 186 Junior 1/1 A well-made, confident puppy of pleasing proportions, already showing the essential qualities of a correct Jack Russell Terrier. A very promising puppy with correct type, balance, and attitude. Shows all the hallmarks of a youngster who should mature into a quality adult, with sound construction, expressive head, and purposeful movement. One to watch as he develops. BP 1st Blazingjacks Best Mate with Jacopeaks- Mrs D Kay BOB A smart, masculine dog of correct height-to-length ratio, presenting the balanced, rectangular outline. He stands over plenty of ground without exaggeration, giving a clean, athletic silhouette. strong, typical head, with a flat skull, defined stop, and a clean, moderate muzzle. Eyes are dark and expressive, showing the keen, alert look expected. Ears are neatly carried, adding to overall balance. Good length of rib with a firm loin. Topline is straight and held well on the move. Chest is spannable and of correct depth. Forehand shows reasonable layback, and hindquarters are well-muscled with appropriate angulation. Feet tight and compact. BOB 2nd Dancing in the Dark at Robythorn- Mr D I & Mrs J A Thornley feminine, well‑constructed young Jack Russell Terrier with correct proportions, a bright expression, and promising movement. She still has some maturing to do, but her quality is evident, and she should continue to develop into a strong contender with time and experience. Kerry Blue Terrier Class 189 Post graduate 0/0 Class 190 Open 1st Kebulak Mr Marvelous-Miss J J & Mr A Pretty & Potts BOB -Group 2 Classic Kerry Blue outline: clean, square, and balanced, with the required elegance over strength. He stands well over the ground, showing a firm topline and well‑set tail that enhances his overall silhouette. head is long, lean, and well‑carried, with a strong foreface and flat skull, giving the correct refined yet powerful expression. Eyes dark and keen, ears neatly set and used well. A true Kerry headpiece that contributes significantly to his ring presence. Front assembly is clean and true, with good layback of shoulder and straight forelegs. Chest deep without exaggeration. Hindquarters are well‑muscled and correctly angulated, allowing him to drive from behind with purpose. He moves with free, fluid stride, maintaining his outline and showing reach in front and strength behind. Coat is of excellent texture, dense and soft with the correct wave, well‑prepared and presented to advantage. Colour developing well. His grooming and finish highlight his quality without over‑presentation. A dog of type, balance, and quality, showing maturity and confidence. He commands attention without flashiness and demonstrates the essential virtues of the breed. A sound, honest Kerry who should continue to be competitive at a high level. BOB, GROUP 3 Welsh Terrier Class 209 Junior 0/0 Class 210 Post Graduate 2/2 1st Chadbrook Foreign Trade-Mrs B S Griffiths A dog of pleasing type with a clean, workmanlike outline. Head of good length with a keen expression; ears well set. Front straight and tidy, standing up on well‑placed shoulders. Body compact with a firm topline and correct tail set. Hindquarters strong, giving purposeful drive on the move. Coat harsh and well presented. Overall, a balanced exhibit showing typical Welsh Terrier qualities. 2nd Knowleion Volcano- Mr D J & Mrs W A E Hughes A Terrier of excellent type, presenting a clean, compact outline with the characteristic Welsh blend of substance and agility. Head well‑proportioned, with a flat skull, strong muzzle and dark, keen eyes giving a bright, workmanlike expression. Ears neatly carried. Front assembly is straight and tidy with good bone; topline firm and maintained on the move. Hindquarters well‑angulated, providing purposeful drive. Moves true coming and going, with a free, ground‑covering stride in profile. Coat harsh, dense and well‑presented, colour clear. Overall, a balanced, confident Welsh Terrier showing correct breed character and sound construction.
