NORWICH WINDSOR 19 Judge: Mrs Dorothy Dorkins BEST OF BREED : 567 CRAWLEY, Mrs L & ODDIE Mr M Ch Ragus The Jumping Jack NORWICH JUDGE WINDSOR 19 Well, the 400 mile round trip was worth it. I had the great pleasure of going over some of the best Norwich Terriers in the country. Thank you. All your dogs were happy and healthy and in wonderful condition. A little concerned about hind angulation in some exhibits, but I was pleased to see the young dogs were better angulated. Bites also could be better, but I did see some with big strong teeth with a full complement of teeth and a correct bite. A very big thank you to my very experienced stewards. PD (2) 1 Crawley’s Ragus Beyond Question. Smart dark red in great coat of good texture, attractive head and expression, good bone and excellent spring of rib, good reach of neck and well laid shoulders, moving and showing soundly on well angulated hindquarters. 2 Page & Contilly’s Ask No Questions Between Winflash. Promising wheaten with harsh textured coat, moving out soundly with style. JD (1) 1 Crawley & Baldwin’s Ragus Time Of My Life. Res CC. Eyecatching young man with a very pleasing head and expression with neat ears, lovely bone, short coupled body and strong topline, in lovely coat and trim, he was showing really well to show off his many virtues. PGD (1) 1 Crozier’s Misma Of Brook Hall. Cobby body and a correctly proportioned head, nice bone and in super coat and condition, putting all into showing himself to advantage. LD (3) 1 Ackling & Dingle’s Kreatin Extra Factor. Top two very close. First has a gorgeous head and expression, neat ears carried well, short, compact body and strong topline, great bone and substance, very impressive showman and groomed to perfection. 2 Smith’s Javidel Walk In The Park. Super body and condition in lovely coat, pleasing head and good ear placement, excellent bone and moved out with drive and reach, alert showman. 3 Crozier’s Sea Sky. Very showy black and tan, moving a little wide in front. OD (4, 1) 1 Crawley & Oddie’s Ch Ragus The Jumping Jack. CC and BOB. A great little Norwich, has all I was looking for. Dark red jacket of super texture, beautifully groomed, short compact body, good spring of rib, strong little legs that take him round the ring with reach and drive, he has a strong, masculine expression with expressive eyes and neat well placed ears, he keeps his level topline well on the move, correct lay of shoulder and good reach of neck, showing all the time, never put a foot wrong. 2 Lazenby’s Tinkave I’m The Man. Another great dog that has all the essentials, moving and showing steadily. Just loved the short, compactness of my winner. 3 Hayes’ Ragus Fabulous Clown ShCM. Steady showman. Moving out well. GCD/B (3) 1 Hayes’ Ragus Seven Jumps. Eyecatching young lady in lovely coat and trim, correct tail set and carriage, very pretty head and expression, enough bone, she moved soundly both ways on well muscled legs, short compact body, showing herself off all the time, never putting a paw wrong. 2 Crozier’s Sea Sky. 3 Hayes’ Ragus Fabulous Clown. PB (2, 1) 1 Crawley’s Ragus True Love Ways. BPIB. Promising puppy with a good head of correct proportions, dark expressive eyes, solid cobby body, she was well balanced and sound on the move and she showed herself to advantage. JB (3) 1 Hayes’ Ragus Seven Jumps. 2 Davies & Tinsley’s Morzi Hello Dolly. Her movement striding round the ring gained her this placing, great bone and pleasing head, good tail carriage, just needed more coat and furnishings to complete the picture. 3 Hardwicke’s Norowic Mistress Magic. Attractive black and tan in lovely coat, correctly proportioned head, not moving as soundly as second. PGB (3, 1) 1 Hayes’ Ragus Seven Jumps. 2 Watkins’ Alantro Step To It. In super coat, good head and ear carriage, large teeth and good bite, a little wide in front, not helped by being very overweight. LB (2) 1 Crawley’s Ragus Loving Spoonful. Short, compact body and good spring of rib, lovely bone, very pretty head and neat well placed ears, beautifully groomed and moved soundly with drive and lots of style. 2 Martin’s Tinkave Brown Eyed Girl At Kirmir. Moving out well, pretty head and good ear carriage, showing all the time. OB (2) 1 Steavenson’s Brickin Chase A Rainbow. CC. This class was my hardest to judge, two simply gorgeous bitches, a very close decision. My winner has a dark red coat of correct texture, she has a truly lovely head with dark expressive eyes, short cobby body, strong hindquarters, she drives round the ring with purpose, she definitely has personality plus. 2 Hitchen’s Ch Kreatin Extra Treat. Res CC. Loved her. Just splitting hairs here. Lovely wheaten coat of super texture, beautifully groomed to enhance her many virtues, correct head proportions and lovely expression, big teeth with correct bite, great topline that she holds well on the move.
