NORWICH WELSH KC 11 Judge: Mrs S L Goodwin NORWICH JUDGE WELSH KC 11 Norwich Terriers MPD (4) Lovely class of promising boys, shall watch with interest. 1 Hitchen’s Ragu Devil in The Detail for Kreatin, just loved him. Needs to firm in loin & drop a little in chest which will shorten him up in body. For me this boy well deserved BP & RCC, excellent rich red jacket, super bone, well placed ears, well padded feet, handled so well. Shall watch out for him; 2 Crawley’s Ragus Merry Gentleman, another of promise, fine jacket, excellent head properties; 3 Corkhill’s Redash Going For Gold. PD (2) 1 Crawley’s Ragus Rock The House, good type, correct expression, well placed ears, huge bite, short firm body, held firm topline on the move, expertly handled; 2 Wilson’s Sheltric Regal Star, good for type, in fine coat & condition. Just didn’t wish to play the part. JD & PGD (0). LD (3) 1 Crawley’s Cobby’s In Design, good strong in head, correct stop, large perfect bite set firm in jaw, loved his expression & well placed ears. Firm in topline, moved so well & as expected in excellent rich rich coat, condition & handling. CC, BOB & shortlisted in the group; 2 Birch’s Barwest Barnaby Bill at Kibkiln, nice head, well balanced in body, excellent bone & well padded feet; 3 Higgitt’s Redash Clock This. OD (2) 1 Norrey’s Fleurnor Red Hot Poker, small well placed ears, correct strong jaw, perfect bite, good rich red jacket, correct tail set-on, loved his keen expression. MPB (2) 1 Crawley’s Ragus Artful Amber & 2 Thompson-Morgan’s Ragus Word Perfect. Two very promising babies, both excellent for type, well balanced in head. Preferred bone, substance & shorter firmer body of 1. Both in super coat & condition & colour red. PB (4) Lovely class, I am sure will change places. 1 Roberts & Murray’s Mindlen Mischief, very mature but still feminine. Small well placed ears, keen expression, good width between ears, good shoulder placement, tail set-on OK; 2 Stevenson’s Ragus Coming Up Next at Brickin, nice short cobby bitch, correct tailset, well angulated in hindquarters, in good coat & well handled; 3 Crawley, Harpham & Hulance’s Be Original at Ragus. JB (1) 1 Corkhill’s Jillymack Madam Butterfly, this one decided the floor was more interesting & handler tried hard. Super type, wedge shaped & strong head, huge teeth (perfect), strong jaw, level topline & well placed tailset. Loved her. PGB (4) 1 Stevenson’s Ragus Extra Hot, fell in love with this one as soon as she entered the ring. Hard for me to fault. She so enjoyed herself, moved a dream around the ring with reach & drive from short firm hocks. Excellent head & a sure ch. In super coat & so expertly handled. CC; 2 Watkins’ Baktwins Dream Summer, unlucky to meet 1. Sound bitch, short, firm in body, tail set-on correct, moved well; 3 Wilson’s Sheltrice High Hopes. LB (4) Difficult class, both lots to offer & will swap places I am sure. 1 Needham’s Titanium Pop Goes The Weasel, nice head, correct & well defined stop, keen expression, moved well, good feet; 2 Watkins’ Baktwins Sunrise, in full coat, lovely head, correct expression, strong neck, good bone & feet, well angulated in hindquarters; 3 Griffin’s Brenin Summer Gold wit Burlmere. OB (6) 1 Hitchen’s Ragus Hidden Amber & 2 Smith & Crawley’s Ragus Cool Jazz, in excellent coat, texture & colour & condition. Heads well proportioned, lovely ears, perfect & strong in jaw. Neck of good length, short firm toplines. Preferred shoulder of 1. MRS S L GOODWIN |
