NORWICH WELSH KC 10 Judge: Mr P Greenway NORWICH JUDGE WELSH KC 10 NORWICH TERRIER Thank you to my stewards and the exhibitors for an enjoyable day. PD (1) 1 Crawley’s Ragus Devine Devil. Grizzle who pleased in overall balance, angulation, topline, neck, head and movement, coat still quite puppyish. JD(2) 1 Crawley’s Ragus Jazz King. Nearly 1 year old wheaten in splendid coat, very good head, neck, topline, set on, substance, loin could be shorter, but as tends to happen, had a ground covering stride, very positive active movement and a showboat disposition. BP. 2 Crawley &Downie’s Demerlay American Boy. Pleased in head and outlook, good coated wheaten of compact appearance, pleased in topline and rear. LD (4, 2) 1 Crawley’s Brickin Ready To Rumble At Ragus. Wheaten, outstanding for symmetrical proportions, excelled in angulation in a compact frame with firm articulation, result, very good movement front, rear and profile. The whole just pleased, neck, topline, set on, substance, coat, head and performance. CC and BOB. 2 Norrey’s Fleurnor Snap Dragon. Nice, compact, well balanced dog with good neck, topline, set on, substance, good head and expression. OD(5) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Top Of The Morning. Compact wheaten in good coat, good outline, nice neck, topline, set on, angulation and substance, moved well all round, very good head, expression, just gave the edge in close competition. Res CC. 2 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Creme Brulee. Wheaten of considerable quality, generally was very similar to winner and just one aspect on the day separated them. 3 Norrey’s Fleurnor Red Hot Poker. PB (2, 1) 1 Smith &Crawley’s Ragus Cool Jazz. Nice type, black/tan, very good head and expression, nice neck, topline, substance, moved soundly. JB(2) 1 Watkins’ Baktwins Dream Summer. 13 months black/tan with shapely profile, lovely balance and flow of line, like her neck, topline, set on, angulation, uses herself well on the move, very good head and outlook. Res CC. 2 Crawley’s Ragus Lookin’ Rosy. Grizzle, carrying plenty of body, very good head, neck, forehand and hindquarters, nice topline and set on, lost in the loin, moved soundly. PGB (4) 1 Brown’s Dorinor Holy Quest. Black/tan who won because she was more compact, nice neck, topline set on, substance, coat, angulation, moved soundly. 2 Needham’s Titanium Pop Goes The Weasel. Wheaten, very good head, eyes and expression, well balanced, substantial with good topline. 3 Corkhill’s Redash Cherry Ripe. LB(5, 1) 1 Norrey’s Fleurnor Caillan Blaa. Compact wheaten, good neck, topline, set on, substance, angulation, articularion, coat and movement, very good head, mouth and eye, rear action took the day. 2 Brown’s Queslade All That Glitters. Wheaten, very similar to above, ran her close. 3 Watkins’ Baktwins Sunrise. OB(3, 2) 1 Corkhill’s Redash Clementine. “O my darling” it was a pleasure to see you. Wheaten with a very good head, eye and expression, looked a picture in profile, good neck, topline, set on, angulation, substance, coat, moved a treat and showed with panache. CC. P. J. Greenway |
