NORWICH JUDGE WELKS 14
NORWICH TERRIERS,
Although I was disappointed with my entry it was pleasing to get some real quality exhibits, the outlook for the breed is very encouraging.
JUNIOR DOG
1. Oddie’s Ragus Pistols At Dawn. One out of the top drawer, so sure of himself. Super bone, a balanced head with small well placed ears, enough neck into well laid shoulders, a compact body with tail on top, straight front, tight feet, strong quarters showing in his good movement, quality top coat, really harsh to the touch, enough undercoat, would have liked more coat but he is still a baby, he never stopped showing. Best Puppy and Res. Best Dog.
OPEN DOG
1. Crawley and Oddie’s Ragus Cool For Cats. Super head, enough stop, small erect ears, a real varminty expression with his dark piercing eyes, a well muscled neck going into correct shoulders, hocks well let down, good bone and tight feet, shown in superb condition, plenty of well groomed coat, true in movement coming and going.. Best Dog and BOB.
JUNIOR BITCH
1. Corkhill’s Redash The Merry Widow. Very much a baby, pleasing head and ears good neck and shoulders, level top line, a nice bend of stifle and tight feet, looks a shade long at the moment but will look different when she fills out, would have liked a harsher jacket, moved and showed well. Best Puppy Bitch.
OPEN BITCH.
1. Phillips, Gullick and Tate’s Jaeva Shocking Pink. A really pretty bitch, lots of quality, a balanced feminine head, she used her ears all the time, enough neck and correct shoulders, well sprung ribs, ultra short in loin, plenty behind her tail, strong quarters and tight well padded feet, moved with drive, a really tight harsh jacket, well put down, a credit to her owners. Best Bitch.
