NORWICH SOUTHERN COUNTIES 10 Judge(s) MRS L CRAWLEY BD BRICKIN TOP OF THE MORNING (MRS J R STEVENSON) Norwich Terriers PD (0). JD (3,1a) 1 Lifford’s Jataal Diesel, attractive, typy. Rather heavy coat, prefer darker eyes but perfect for size & shape. Nice head, correct size & general shape, showed & moved very well. PGD (1) 1 Barge & Harwicke’s Baktwins Sun Seeker, b/t, very nice head, dark eyes, brimming with enthusiasm, so typically Norwich, excellent bone & substance, cobby frame. Not as correctly made as some. Excellent coat & condition, great showman. LD (2) 1 Birch’s Barnaby Bill at Kibkiln, top quality, perfect type, lovely head. Correct eye shape & size, would like slightly darker. Correct outline for length of neck, topline & tailset, excellent quarters, correct bone, perfect size of Norwich, really smart showman. Preferred reach in front when moving of CC winner, bit between coats. RCC; 2 James’ Bakewood Twentyfour Carat, attractive with excellent outline standing, good length of neck & correct topline. Would prefer straighter front, could not assess movement correctly as was determined to play up, felt for handler. Lovely harsh coat, correct short back, legs with good bone, stands really well when wants to. OD (2,1) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Top Of The Morning, most beautiful head & expression, oozes quality, correct front, strong well angulated quarters, moved well, perfect profile action with correct reach in front & drive behind, really covering ground. Not as short coupled as RCC winner. Wonderful head, expression plus perfect movement won the day, lovely coat & condition. CC & BOB, feel has been very unlucky in the past, should make up easily. PB (2) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Does It In Style, loved this puppy, so feminine yet good bone & substance more often seen in males, pleasing head proportions for age, full of quality with keen dark eyes, when settled moved extremely well, lovely temperament, great coat correctly harsh & thick. RBB & BP; 2 Watkins’ Baktwins Dream Summer, prettiest, cutest b/t, lovely short back & legs, moved really well particularly behind. Not strength of muzzle of 1 & needs to grow new coat. Showed her socks off, only needs time to trouble the best. JB (2,1) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Dream Theme, litter sister to PB winner, very similar in general size & outline, same good bone, excellent topline & sparkling expressive eyes. Not behaving but stood alone, would probably have settled if others had been in with her, needs more coat to finish picture. PGB (1) 1 Watkins’ Baktwins Sunrise, lots to like, correct cobby body, short back & legs, attractive head, lovely coat. Needs more shaping when being trimmed, profuse length & depth of coat fills whole outline & what neck she has is lost completely, not truest in action. Perfect substance for correct small size, lovely showgirl. OB (2,1) 1 Martin’s Baktwins Follow That Dream, attractive & have always liked. Little short in coat but what there was is correct texture. Expressive dark eyes, good head & length of neck, correct topline & tailset, moved very well, loved type & balance. Tended to drop tail sometimes when standing but it was hot. Maturity & steady movement won her BB over puppy. Smarter confident attitude of male took RCC from her. Wish I had two CCs. L A CRAWLEY |
