NORWICH RICHMOND 13 Judge: Mr Geoff Corish BEST OF BREED : 2145 STEVENSON Mrs J Ragus Now And Forever NORWICH JUDGE RICHMOND 13 Norwich Terriers I took over for the appointed judge, Les Aspin, who was ill & not able to travel. I hope he is now feeling better. VD (0). PD (2) 1 Crawley & Jones’ Ragus Made You Look, red of super type, excels in head & expression, super mouth, sound both ways, good reach of neck, excellent topline. One for the future. RCC; 2 Crawley’s Ragus Fair N’ Square, b/t, younger than 1 by a couple of months but still a nice boy. I did prefer head & expression of 1 & lack of furnishings didn’t help. Moves well both ways. JD (0). PGD (1) 1 Nutkins’ Tebrun Favour, red of real workmanlike type. Very masculine head, well placed ears, good bone, excellent topline, really hard coat, well handled. LD (1) 1 Phillips & Tate’s Debeaux The Guvnor at Jaeva, b/t, really good moving, well balanced head. Would like ears a little higher placed. Good front, excellent bone, good topline, well handled. OD (3) 1 Stevenson’s Ragus Now And Forever. CC & BOB & 2 Hitchen’s Ragus Devil In The Detail for Kreatin, two very nice dogs & very similar in type. Both red & both in good coat & condition. Coming & going both moved OK but on the go round 1 just had that little more freedom in front. They can easily change places on other days. Gave him the CC & delighted to hear he was one I admired at the club ch show last year. VB (1) 1 Nutkins’ Tebrun Chocolate Muffin, 13 years & remarkable old lady. Coat is still in top order & still moves like a 2 year old. Really enjoying her day & just proves what great lasters Norwich are. PB (3) 1 Crawley’s Ragus Look Who’s Talkin’, red, very much a madam! Moving when she decided to. Lovely young lady to go over & when she moved she was so sound & free moving. Must have a great future. Still thought her outstanding & in the challenge. CC; 2 El-Telbani’s Ragus Morning Song for Srenscem, b/t, very much the baby of the two. Moved OK. Needs a bit of time but she is only 7 months & time is definitely on her side. JB (1) 1 Hitchen’s Kreatin Hidden Gem, b/t, very feminine, the most lovely head & expression, well placed ears, good front, good topline, moves out really well. RCC. PGB (1) A. LB (4) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Coconut Bliss, very attractive, balanced head & expression, straight front, excellent topline, sound both ways. Would like her a touch shorter. Just gave up in the challenge sadly; 2 Martin’s Kirmir Little Mischief, red & slightly smaller than 1 but a really good moving bitch. Sound coming & going, well balanced & in excellent coat; 3 Stevenson’s Ragus Miss Sunshine. OB (4) 1 Phillips’ Ragus Madly In Love, red of good type. Could have put a bit more into showing. On the table she is lovely to go over. Liked her head & expression, good neck & shoulder, firm in topline, excellent coat texture; 2 Roberts & Murray’s Mindlen Mischief, b/t, so well handled by her young owner. Gave up on showing but so typical of Norwich, well put together, excellent coat, good bone, moved OK. GEOFF CORISH |
