NORWICH JUDGE MIDLAND COUNTIES 22

A non-CC breed at this show with nine dogs present. I thought the best dog and bitch puppy very promising indeed. My BOB is a young dog with a lot of potential.

PD (2)

1 Smith’s Mr Holmes Investigates, just six months old masculine dog puppy who promises well for the future. Compact and of lovely type. Excellent temperament & showed very well for one so young. Promising head with good eye and expression, well set and carried ears. Good body. Moved soundly and well. Shown in super order. Best Puppy & Reserve Best Dog.

2 Crawley’s Ragus Thundercloud, also six months old masculine puppy. Slightly longer cast than 1st. Very good head shape, eye a little round, but dark in colour. Well set ears, but a little large. Well made front, enough body, good rear. Good coat quality. Moved well.

JD (1)

1 Gretton & Bell’s Elantiz Verde, 15 month old masculine red youngster who could be handled to better advantage. Good skull, oval, dark eyes. Well set medium size ears. Good front. Just a little short in ribcage and long in loin. Needs to improve in front movement. Good coat quality.

OD (2,1)

1 Crawley’s Winflash Easter Parade, two year old red male of lovely type and balance. Very good proportions. Quality head with excellent dark eye and keen expression. Well set and carried ears. Capable mover, who just needs a little more training. Coat presented in excellent order. Plenty to like about this dog. Best Dog & Best of Breed.

PB (2)

1 Crawley’s Ragus Clouded Sunset, six months old very sweet, confident and feminine puppy, who showed well. Cobby and proportionate. I liked her outline very much. Excellent ribcage. Head promises well, excellent eye & expression. Very good mover. Reserve Best Bitch.

2 Mitchell’s Javidel Miss Marple at Swalefield, of the same age, but a little more rangy at this stage. Well handled. Good head shape, eye a little large. Well set and carried ears. Medium body for age. Would prefer a stronger rear and better drive in hind movement.

JB (3)

1 Baldwin’s Ragus Isn’t It Romantic, 13 month old red slightly big, yet feminine bitch. Strong head, excellent eye & expression, well set and carried ears. Good long ribcage and nice broad bottom. Decent coat. Good mover. Best Bitch.

2 Inett & Harrison’s Ragus Blowing Kisses to Carradine, at 14 months I feel she needs more time for development as she is a little rangy. Feminine. good head, would like better expression. Coat not at its best.

3 Crawley’s Ragus Funtasia.
