NORWICH JUDGE LEEDS 18

It was a disappointing entry numerically, but I want to thank those exhibitors who did enter. I thought that by and large heads, bodies and toplines were very good but I was disappointed by the number of dogs that moved badly in front

JD (1)

1. Smith's Javidel Walk in the Park, very pleasing youngster with a good head of correct proportions, excellent neck and topline and good outline moving around the ring. Well bodied up. He moved better behind than in front. Good coat and shown in excellent condition.

LD (1)

1. Kell's Ragus All Guns Firing for Amicaro, OK in head with a good width of skull. Good eye and expression. Good neck. Could be slightly shorter in back. Moved well behind but could be better in front. Good harsh coat with plenty of undercoat. Enough bone and good for size.

OD (2)

1. Oddie, Nagrecha, Dyer and Crawley's Ch Ragus Scouts Honour, very good neck and topline, correct for compactness and good body. Moved better than 2 in front and that was where he scored today. and he was also good behind. Good coat. Enough bone and OK in skull. Went on to win DCC and BOB

2. Hitchen's Ch Kreatin Extra Mile a good headed dog with typical strength of muzzle and good expression and correct sized ears. Good topline. Well sprung in rib. Didn't move so well in front but was good in hind movement Res DCC

PB (2)

1. Crawley's Ragus Loving Spoonful, just a bit immature and needs time to develop. Correct for back and body proportions. Coat coming in OK for age. Good neck and level topline. Scored in front and compactness over 2.

2. Hitchen & Lumpkin's Kreatin Extra Treat, very pleasing in skull, head proportions and expression. Moved well behind and shown with plenty of coat. Could be a shade shorter in back and tidier in front movement.

JB (1)

1. Crawley's Ragus Silk Moth, still a puppy and a very promising youngster. Good in head and expression and maturing well. Good coat condition and correct tail. Enough bone and good compact feet. Well proportioned throughout and moved better in front than a number of the exhibits here. Went on to win RBCC and Best Puppy.

LB (2)

1. Crawley's Ragus Feather in My Cap, OK in width of skull but could be better overall in head and expression. Not perfect in front but better there than 2. Good coat texture enough neck and OK in rib. Correct turn of stifle.

2. Batey's Ragus Burning Question Sh.CM. good in strength of muzzle and head. Good in neck but not so good in front or front movement. Moved well behind and was good in rib and loin.

OB (1)

1. Armstrong & Lawrance's Ch Elantiz Mockingjay Sh.CM, a bitch with rather a 'pretty' female head. Good ears and enough stop. Could be better in front standing but good for size and correct level topline with good tailset and OK in loin with enough muscle behind. Went on to win the BCC

VB (2)

1. Smith's Ch Ragus Takes the Biscuit JW, a shade lacking in coat today but scored in head and eye here. Better in movement than 2. Good tail. Held topline better than 2 going around the ring. Moved better behind than in front.

2. Armstrong & Lawrance's Elantiz Rambling Rosie Sh.CM, a bit unruly in the ring at times and didn't settle to get on with things. OK in head with good enough roundness and width of skull. Good expression and correct ears. Could be better in topline on the move.
