PNORWICH JUDGE EAST OF ENGLAND 17

The breed was originally intended to be judged outside, but the condition of the ring was unsuitable, so we were moved into a building which I thought might be uncomfortable on such a hot day, but it proved to be otherwise with the dogs seemingly quite comfortable and happy. Thank you for your entries and thanks also to my most efficient stewards.

PD (2)

1 Oddie, Nagrecha & Dyer's Ragus Scouts Honour I was quite taken with this 11 mth old puppy, pleasing in most departments, well proportioned head and neck, good eye, good red jacket, moving well, one to watch.

2 Davies & Tinsley's Morzi Life Of Brian. At 8 mths, this red dog needing more ring experience, not quite the overall quality of first, and not presented in such good jacket, unsettled in movement at first, but did pull himself together to show what he could do.

JD (1)

1 Jones' Ragus Enough Said. 11 mths, but maturity should help this dog, good eye and ears, ok in body proportions, but not such a steady mover as yet.

PGD (4)

1 Hitchen's Kreatin Extra Mile. BP, DCC & BOB, one year old on the day I see from the catalogue, and more maturing should come, attractive well proportioned head with pleasing expression, body well put together, shown in good red coat, moving well round the ring, for perfection would have liked less curl on the tail.

2 Crozier's Sea Sky. Two very nice dogs in this class, but quite different to each other in type which does not make for easy decisions, well proportioned 2 yr old b/t, good head, eye and ears, well angulated at both ends, well proportioned in body, very pleasing tail set and carriage, attentive to handler, moved well.

LD (1)

1 Oddie, Nagrecha & Dyer's Ragus Mr OO' Seven. 11 mth old, pleasing dog with masculine head, good in front, well made in body, very typical in profile, moved well.

OD (2)

1 Lazenby & Crawley's Tinkave I'm The Man. RDCC, just turned a year old, quite nice overall with good bone, would have preferred a touch more strength in muzzle, moved well.

2 McLaughlin's Barwest Blaze Of Glory. Not enjoying the heat of the day, I felt, and carrying some surplus weight which spoilt his outline on the move, good tailset and carriage.

PB (3, 2)

1 Batey's Ragus Burning Question. 11 mth old bitch, pleasing all round, lovely head and expression, good ears and eye, balanced all through with good body proportions, giving a typical profile on the move, liked her, very promising, one to watch.

JB (2)

1 Hitchen & Lumpkin's Kreatin Extra Sweet. BRCC, just a year old on the day, litter sister to DCC, attractive, well proportioned head, good in eye and ear, pleasing overall.

2 Thompson-Morgan's Belleville Vintage Effect. B/t, just turned a year old, losing out today in maturity compared to winner and not enjoying the ring, but did improve on that by the end of the class.

PGB (2)

1 Davies & Tinsley's Dickinson Chocka Moca. B/t, almost 2 yrs old with pleasing head proportions, but not behaving at all well on the table, livened up considerably as soon as her feet touched the floor, scored in front movement, in good jacket, alert.

2 Graves' Ragus Angel In Pearls. Almost 2 yrs old red, showy and full of herself, but would have preferred stronger head, shown in good coat, but front movement let her down.

OB (1)

1 Crawley's Ragus Loves The Glove. BCC, very attractive and typical, but up to size, would not like to see her get any bigger, 13 mths old, alert and attentive, in good jacket, pleasing in head and body proportions, made a lovely picture when moving both ways, good feet, liked her very much indeed.
