NORWICH EAST OF ENGLAND 11 Judge(s) MR J GRIFFIN DCC COBBY'S IN DESIGN (MRS L CRAWLEY) Norwich Terriers When I first came into Norwich their teeth & bite was not at its best. Now most dogs have a scissor bite with large teeth for the size of dog. What, in my opinion, needs to be watched is shoulders. PD (4) 1 Hitchen’s Ragus Devil In The Detail, strong head, bright eye & good ear placement, scissor bite, short coupled, good rear angulation, moved well; 2 Crawley’s Merry Gentleman, preferred head of 1. Level topline, moved well; 3 Brown’s Ragus The Devil Can Wait for Lastarean. JD (2) 1 Crawley’s Ragus Only This Once, compact & strong boned, dark eye, neat eras, scissor bite, well laid shoulders, short coupled, good turn of stifle, moved well. BP & RCC; 2 Stubbings’ Alncarron Scots Pine, not quite as strong in head as 1. Level back, good tail carriage. Needs to be moved faster. PGD (2) 1 A Scots Pine. LD (2) 1 Crawley’s Cobby’s In Design, good strong head, well defined stop, well placed ears, eyes full of expression, large teeth, scissor bite, level back, good turn of stifle, moved with drive. CC. OD (0). PB (3) 1 Stevenson’s Ragus Coming Up Next at Brickin, really enjoyed her day, strong head, expressive eyes bright & keen, scissor bite, well laid shoulders, level back, short coupled. When settled she moved well; 2 Crawley’s Ragus Devil May Care, lovely puppy & I am sure they will change places many times during their show careers. Preferred movement of 1; 3 Roberts & Murray’s Mindlen Mischief. JB (2)A. PGB (4) 1 Hitchin’s Ragus Hidden Amber, good head, well placed ears, dark eye, scissor bite, reasonable shoulders, short coupled, good rear angulation; 2 Wilson’s Sheltrice High Hopes, good head, level back, good tail carriage when on the move, strong rearend; 3 Flannery & Bennett’s Amicaro Hi Kicks at Jacquill. LB (6) 1 Brown’s Dorinor Holy Quest, lovely compact bitch, slightly domed head, bright expressive eyes, good ear placement, strong neck flowing into well laid shoulders, level back, short coupled, well turned stifle, moved with drive. CC & BOB; 2 Smith & Crawley’s Ragus Cool Jazz, much as 1 but preferred movement of 1; 3 Needham’s Titanium Pop Goes The Weasel. OB (3) 1 Brown’s Queslade All That Glitters, good head, dark eye, neat erect ears, good shoulders, level back, moved well. RCC; 2 Harrild’s Ragus Inspiration, bright eyes, good earset, scissor bite, good bone, level back, moved OK. JOHN GRIFFIN |
