NORWICH JUDGE DRIFFIELD 22
The sun was shining and our judging coincided with the hottest part of the day which made it difficult for a few of the dogs (and handlers too) some of the dogs found it difficult to settle.
Junior Dog - (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: BATEY, Mrs D - Contilly On A Roll : 17 month dog, he caught my eye straight away, super outline compact and in proportion. Lovely to go over fit and well muscled. Good width of skull, well set ears, dark oval eyes which gave him a super expression and a strong muzzle and defined stop. Good length of neck, strong and into well laid shoulders, short in back and having a well sprung rib, moved and covered the ground well. Best dog and BOB.
Open Dog - (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: ARMSTRONG, Miss Jordan & LAWRANCE, Miss Pauline - Ragus Sweet Bay at Elantiz : A very mature male with good bone and in excellent condition with hard wiry coat and plenty of it. Liked his head shape which was in good proportions, ears well set and alert, strong neck, short back and good tail set, moved well.
2nd: WEBSTER, Ms L - RAGUS FUN N'LAUGHTER : Masculine boy, good for size, super dark eye giving a lovely expression, not quite the width of skull as 1, lovely neck and topline which was carried firmly on the move, liked his tail set too. Res Best dog
Puppy B itch - (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 1150 INETT, Miss D H & HARRISON, Miss R A - Ragus Blowing Kisses to Carradine : A super sweet young lady, so feminine, she has a lovely expression, dark eye, good head proportions with a definite stop, enough strength of muzzle and well placed ears. Good neck into well placed shoulders, short level back with good tail set, straight front which just needs to tighten a touch more, lots of drive on the move. Best Puppy
2nd: 1152 WEBSTER, Ms L - RAGUS FUN LOVING GIRL : Lovely shape and size, she has a wonderful eye, good mouth and dentition, good topline, was playing her handler up so difficult to assess movement.
Junior Bitch - (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: ARMSTRONG, Miss Jordan & EGGINTON, Mr Ben, - Elantiz Angels & Demons : A lovely young lady starting to mature, with super coat texture and colour, super dark eye of good shape giving a lovely feminine expression. Good length of neck and well laid shoulder, well carried tail, nice spring of rib and depth of chest, straight front. Good reach and drive from behind. Res Best bitch.
2nd: CRAWLEY, Mrs L A - Ragus Another Bubble : She was not settled in the class and difficult to assess properly. Ok for shape and size, short muzzle and defined stop, would prefer a slightly darker eye, neck and shoulders ok, short back, good tailset with plenty behind the tail.
Post Graduate Bitch - (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: ARMSTRONG, Miss Jordan & EGGINTON, Mr Ben - Elantiz Angels & Demons
2nd: CRAWLEY, Mrs L A - A Painted Smile With Ragus : I think the heat was getting to some of the dogs, she was a touch apprehensive on the table and didn’t settle too well. She has a lovely almost black eye of good shape, good width of skull slightly rounded and of decent width, good ear set, good length of neck, short back, wasn’t using her tail to advantage. Moved ok when she got going.
Open Bitch - (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: CRAWLEY, Mrs L A - Ragus Highfalutian : A lovely bitch to go over. Feminine head, super dark eye, good muzzle mouth and stop, well set ears, good length of neck into well angulated shoulders, short backed and good tail set. Moved well but would have liked a touch more rear angulation. Best Bitch
2nd: ARMSTRONG, Miss Jordan & LAWRANCE, Miss Pauline - Elantiz This is Me : Lovely for size, shape and proportions when stood in profile. Nice head shape, good ear set, good dentition, enough length of neck, well placed shoulders, short in back with a good tail set. Didn’t move too well in the class.
