Norwich Terriers

My thanks to the exhibitors for such a wonderful entry of high quality. Mouths where very good, but I feel that the size of the dogs must be watched as some are just too big. The Standard clearly states they must be one of the smallest of terriers. Temperaments were as always delightful, such a lovely breed.

VD (1)

1 Barge & Hardwicke’s Baktwins Sunseeker, smart 8 year old male, good topline, moved well.

PD (4)

1 Crawley’s Ragus Jump The Gun, attractive head, good eyes, ears & bite. Very short cobby body, moved out well;

2 Armstrong & Lawrance’s Elantiz Fire Is Catching, a really showy young man, good topline, nice head & expression;

3 Crawley’s Ragus Jump To It, very balanced youngster in good coat & condition.

JD (3)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Just For Effect, what a lovely size & very sound. Good head with beautiful masculine expression, nice neat ears, good topline, short cobby body, good tailset. RCC;

2 Crozier’s Misma of Brook Hall, bigger type all over but very sound & well balanced;

3 Fisher’s Fizzella Hi Force, lighter in frame than winners, nice type. PGD (4) 1 E Fire Is Catching;

2 Haynes’ Alantro’s True Beginnings, was more appealing on the floor rather than table, nice head, good bite, dark eye, nice topline, moved well;

3 Hayes’ Ragus Fabulous Clown, close decision between 2 & 3, another of nice type.

LD (4)

1 Graves’ Ragus Morning Herald, very nice male with a lovely head, expression & earset. Nice big teeth, good topline, moved very well;

2 Mullner’s Abrakadabra Arte Cassari, b/t, good topline with well set tail, just a fraction wide in front;

3 Sutton’s Jaffa Cake of Neszmely, nice type but in her underwear today.

OD (6,2a)

1 Crawley & Oddie’s Ch Ragus Hand In Glove, well known b/t dog with that look at me style. Shown in great coat & condition, typical head & expression, good front & rear, sound topline, moved well. CC & BOB;

2 Harpham & Hulance’s Ch Ragus Kiss In The Dark, lovely sized male in good jacket, well proportioned head, short cobby body, moved well, unlucky to meet winner in such fine form;

3 Portunova’s Ya Mazzi Iz Plushevih Snov, very nice but bigger all over than winner, would benefit from losing a pound in weight. Moved very well.

GCD (2)

1 Dent’s Ragus Cornish Caper at Fizzella, good size & very fit, owner told me he does agility & it shows in his condition; 2 R Fabulous Clown.

VB (2) 1 Lazenby’s Ch Ragus Diamonds Only, 8 year old & enjoying her moment, nice compact type very showy;

2 Dent’s Amicaro Kiss On The Hand at Fizzella, lovely size of bitch, well handled.

2 Guicciardini’s Scaramuccia Degli Acquisti, very well presented red bitch of good size, just dropped her tail at the last moment, very sound;

3 Kell’s Amicaro Jubilympia, nice type but today was not quite in one with her handler, fed up with waiting I think.

OB (6)

1 Tate’s Jaeva Maid Of Honour, beautiful b/t who is so sound both front & back. She is a lovely size with a very attractive head, short firm cobby body, I understand this gives her her title, well deserved CC;

2 Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville’s Coconut Effect, very gassy young lady, a born showgirl, very sound;

3 Guicciardini’s Scaramuccia Degli Acquisti.
