NORWICH JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 10

Thank you to the Officer’s & Committee of Bournemouth Canine Association for the invitation to judge at their show and the exhibitor’s for their entries, also for waiting as it was a late start and judging took place undercover, due to heavy rain.

J (2,1)

1, RBB & BPIB, Smith & Crawley’s Ragus Cool Jazz, (b/t) b, 11mths & still developing, feminine head, good width between ears, neatly set, dark eye, gd muzzle, bite & pigment, ample bone, well ribbed, sound quarters, well padded feet & good tail set, coat not in full bloom, but gd texture, moved well fore & aft with correct topline, moved to advantage.

PG (5,2)

1 & RBD, Norrey’s Fleurnor Snap Dragon, well made skull, good ear, eye & bite, neat front, good spring of rib, level topline, good tail set & turn of stifle, well padded feet, not so positive in hind movement today,

2 Crawley & Downie’s Demerlay American Boy, well proportioned head, good stop, muzzle & bite, straight front, ribs well back, tail set ok, tends to tuck up on the table, gd topline held on the move, attention to coat presentation would compliment the overall picture,

3 Neales Amircaro Rock Diamond, good d to handle, just not happy on the move, in good coat.

O (3,1)

1, BD & BOB, Norrey’s Fleurnor Red Hot Poker, 1 & 2 litter brother & sister), this 2,5 yr old dog certainly had attitude today so full of himself, masculine well made head, gd width between ears, dark eye, good pigment & ruff, ample bone, good layback & well ribbed, topline maintained at all times, well muscled quarters, good tail set & lovely coat, when he got his act together covered the ground with free easy movement, good profile when standing & on the move once settled,

2 BB, Norrey’s Fleurnor Caillan Blaa, very similar to above but feminine throughout, lovely head, dark eye, neat front, well ribbed, short coupled, tail set ok, move with purpose using her quarters well on the move, not in her best jacket but new coat coming through of good texture.
