NORWICH JUDGE BLACKPOOL 12

Norwich Terriers

Missing teeth still seem to be a problem but I was well pleased with the quality of my main winners.

PD (2)

Two super youngsters to start the day.

1 Stevenson’s Ragus Now And Forever, 7 months red, very appealing head & expression, excellent bite, well boned & ribbed with optimum angles & good bone, moved soundly & with purpose. Coat needs to come through now. BP & RCC;

2 Crawley’s Ragus Edge Of Forever, 7 months red, in better coat than 1 but not quite the expression & a tad longer coupled, otherwise very close up.

JD (1)

1 Hitchen’s Ragus Devil In The Detail for Kreatin, 17 months red, excellent overall type, appealing expression. But could have a little stronger foreface. Chunky body, moved steadily & all of a piece.

LD (1)

1 Brown’s Ragus The Devil Can Wait for Lastarean, b/t junior of excellent type, beautiful head & expression, well boned & ribbed & carrying plenty of body, excellent balance, in good coat, handled the conditions well to win his first CC & BOB, also shortlisted in the group. For me a standout winner on the day who should sail through to his title.

OD (1)

1 Crawley & Oddie’s Ch Ragus Merry Gentleman, light red with instant appeal & immaculately presented, balanced head, dentition could be more consistent, excellent outline, front could be better filled, a little light in condition, shows with enthusiasm.

PB (5)

1 Hitchen’s Ragus Mayfair Morning, 8 months red, solidly built but still with feminine head & typical expression, very well put together, in good coat, not relishing the conditions. But who was today?

2 Stevenson’s Brickin I’m In The Pink, 7 months light red, longer cast & not quite as appealing in expression as 1 but a good solid bitch who should produce well;

3 Arrand’s Ragus Dance Away.

JB (1)

1 Brown’s Lastarean Kyme for Home, 16 months b/t with solid body, very appealing expression but a little narrow in underjaw. Holds her topline well but needs to pull her front together.

LB (4)

1 Stevenson’s Ragus Coming Up Next at Brickin, b/t, cobby body, feminine head, full dentition, good quality jacket, seemed sound enough;

2 Armstrong & Lawrance’s Elantiz Rambling Rosie, red with instant appeal, pleasing head but would like fuller dentition. Delightful expression, solid body, between coats, moved quite well;

3 Brown’s Lastarean Sign Of The Kymes.

OB (3)

1 Smith & Hurrion’s Ragus Takes The Biscuit, extrovert red with excellent head & full dentition, excellent outline with firm back, enough behind the tail & optimum angulation, well boned & ribbed, nicely presented. Won her first CC & should make up easily;

2 Roberts & Murray’s Mindlen Mischief, b/t not enjoying herself as much as 1 but excellent overall type, pleasing expression, good jacket, shorter in rib than 1;

3 Hitchen’s Ragus Hidden Amber.
