NORWICH BLACKPOOL 09 Judge: Miss D Jenkins
Norwich Terriers PD (5,1a) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Crème Brulee, exciting dog puppy, lovely head & expression, excellent mouth, best of neck & shoulders, short back, super movement, good front extension & rear propulsion. BP; 2 Oddie’s Amicaro Brilliant Cut, lovely typy puppy, beautiful head & expression, good mouth, level topline. Lost out to 1 on movement. Showed & handled well; 3 Higgitt’s Redash Clock This. JD (1) 1 Southwell’s Berty Way of Delosinga, smart b/t, excellent harsh coat, well bodied, good head, lovely dark eye, short back, level topline, good substance, showed well, moved OK. LD (6,3) 1 Norrey’s Fleurnor Red Hot Poker, mature dog, sound mover, lovely head & expression, good earset, dark eye, excellent mouth, good length of neck, straight front, good rear angulation; 2 Layfield’s Brencorrie Bugsy Malone, honest sort, a little longer in muzzle than 1. Pleasing expression, dark eye, good scissor bite, excellent coat, level topline with tail on top. Needs to settle more on the move; 3 Kell’s Ragus Revelation. OD (4,2) 1 Crawley’s Ch Ragus Rings True, what can I say that has not already been said, a once in a lifetime dog, he has everything, fabulous type, so well put together, fantastic head & expression, he almost dares you to find fault with him, moves with such style & panache, simply owns the ring, a pleasure to judge, great coat & condition. CC, BOB & G1; 2 Needham’s Ch Titanium Columbus, chunky, short backed little dog, excellent bone & substance, good head & expression, strong neck. A bit heavy over the shoulder. Level topline, good tailset, moved & showed well. RCC. PB (9,2) A strong class of lovely puppies. 1 Corkhill’s Redash Crystal Clock, this puppy has such lovely lines, head still needs to come, but has beautiful dark eyes & a super bite with large white teeth. Lovely length of neck, level topline, good front, moved well once settled, out showed all the others. A little raw but has lots of potential; 2 Brown’s Dorinor Holy Quest, super puppy, not the confidence of 1, but still from the top draw. Excellent head & expression, super dark eyes, compact with good bone, harsh coat, handled & moved well; 3 Griffin’s Brenin Summer Gold with Burlmere. JB (4) 1 Crawley’s Ragus Very True, a really lovely little bitch, excels in type, chunky & compact, beautiful head & expression, lovely dark eye, excellent mouth, good length of neck, short backed, level topline, straight front, good bone, well padded feet, moved with drive & purpose, showed well. CC; 2 Stevenson’s Brickin Pretty In Pink, lovely little bitch, very typical Norwich. Sadly lacking in coat. Super head & expression, dark eye, good mouth, showed so well, moved with style; 3 Brown’s Queslade All That Glitters. LB (9,1) 1 Lazenby’s Ragus Diamonds Only, stylish bitch, a little short in coat, but it did not detract from her overall quality. Good head, dark eye & earset, correct front construction, level topline, carries herself well on the move, good side gait, very in tune with her handler. RCC; 2 Crawley’s Ragus Forever Amber, different type than 1, stocky but feminine, dense harsh coat, good head, dark eye & earset, excellent mouth, strong neck, level topline. Moved well but a little wide in front. Showed well; 3 Needham’s Titanium Paint Your Wagon. OB (4,2) 1 Thompson’s Belleville Coconut Cream, super bitch to go over, everything flows together, lovely head & expression, superb length of neck, well laid shoulders, short coupled, correct front construction, excellent rear angulation, hocks well let down, moved straight in front with excellent rear movement. Sadly, not showing at her best; 2 Roberts’ Ch Ragus One Step Ahead of Mindlen, nice type, showed well. A bit overweight which made her heavy over the shoulder & caused her to roll on the move. Head OK, lovely dark eye, excellent mouth. DIANE JENKINS
