I thoroughly enjoyed my first CC appointment and must also thank the exhibitors for their entries. MPD (3) 1 Graves’ Belleville I’m At Pipsacre NAF. Black and tan, 6 months of age and first time out a little hesitant at times but should improve as he grows in confidence. He has a good head, dark eye, well placed ears and correct dentition, neck of good length into well placed shoulders, good spring of rib and tail set, well padded feet and decent coat coming through. BDP. 2 Stevenson’s Brickin Fine And Dandy. Red wheaten, same age as first, another well made puppy with similar attributes to first, good head, dark eye, well placed ears and expression, nicely ribbed, well off for bone, good harsh jacket, a little reluctant on the move today, another I’m sure that will improve with more confidence. 3 McLaughlin’s Barwest Blazing Star. YD (2, 1) 1 Crawley’s Ragus Cob Nut. Red dog of good type, 14 months of age, masculine head, small dark eye with good stop and expression. Good depth of chest and layback of shoulder, well boned legs and padded feet, good spring and length of rib and short loin, good tail set. Would like a harsher jacket but nevertheless moved well to win the Dog CC and BOB. PGD (1) 1 Webster’s Ragus Fun N’ Laughter. 2 year old red wheaten, good for size and type, masculine head, well shaped eye, ears and expression. Confident dog moving well round the ring, he has a decent front but moving a little close behind. LD (1) 1 Armstrong & Lawrence’s Ragus Sweet Bay At Elantiz. 4 year old mature red dog in excellent harsh coat and condition. Masculine head and small dark eye and ears of good size, another with that typical expression. He is a tad short of neck, has well boned legs and padded feet has a good length and spring of rib with good tail set, moved well to take the RDCC. OD (1) 1 Smith’s Javidel Walk In The Park. Mature 5 year old red dog who is good for type and temperament, masculine head, small dark eye, good ear placement, lovely expression, would like bigger teeth, he has a good depth of chest, neck and enough layback of shoulder, good ribs and short in back, coat in good condition, could have more hind angulation to give more drive from the rear. MPB (3, 1) 1 Armstrong & Egginton’s Elantiz Angel And Demons. 9 months of age and what a delightful red puppy. She has the sweetest expression, super shaped dark eye with good ears and dentition. Correct length of neck and shoulder placement, enough bone for size, short in back, in excellent coat with good straight tail carried well, at one with her handler. BP and RBCC. 2 Webster’s Ragus Fun Loving Girl. Red wheaten of 8 months, quite immature at present, another of lovely type, in good coat moved and showed well for her handler. YB (1) 1 Crawley’s Ragus Highfaluation. Red bitch of 15 months, a little unsettled on the move but nice to go over. In full coat, pretty head, dark eye and good mouth, she has enough length of neck is short backed with good spring of rib and good tail set, would prefer more hind angulation. LB (2) 1 Lazenby’s Belleville Vintage Vibe At Tinkave. Smaller type 19 months, red wheaten, feminine head and expression, small dark eye, neat ears, good in neck and shoulder, enough bone for her size, short backed and good spring of rib, free flowing movement, in lovely coat and condition, good tail set and carriage. BCC. 2 Lawrence & Armstrong’s Elantiz This Is Me. B/t in very short harsh coat today, good type, looking a little plain in the head but lacking in face furnishings. She has a dark eye, good ear placement and correct dentition, well ribbed and short in back with good tail set and moved well for her handler. 3 Stevenson’s Brickin Definitely Hot. OB (1) 1 Graves’ Ragus Love Letter To Pipsacre. 3 years old red bitch of good type, excellent head and expression, strong but feminine, enough neck and well placed shoulder, well ribbed and short backed, good legs and feet, in short harsh coat, unfortunately not enjoying her day which stopped her going any further in the challenge.
