NORWICH JUDGE BATH 26

I was delighted to be given this opportunity by Bath to award my 1st set of CCs in the breed having obtained a JDP Credit in Jan 2012 so arguably more slow tracked than fast tracked! I guess the heat played its part with almost 50% not making it, 7 of the 16 exhibits being absent VD (1,0) 1 Ackling's Ch Kreatin Extra Factor; rising 9yrs & bred, I see, in the Kreatin/Ragus purple; shown in remarkable form & condition; strong wedge shaped muzzle; correct 2:3 proportions; scored in eye & ear to give a typically keen expression with a ruff framing his face; short, level & compact; hard jacket; highset tail; lowset hock enabled parallel propulsion. BVIB JD (3,1) 1 Smith's Javidel War Talk; 14m b/t; short expressive face with well defined stop, framed by a ruff, & with notable pointed ears set well apart on top of his skull; long rib with short loin; gd bone; moved balanced & straight with reach & drive on cat feet with a close coat; barely a teenager but full of promise. 2 Ostermann & Inett's Kaju Skippy In Blue Jeans; also 14m & a red; such a keenly bright expression from his small oval eye & his medium, perfectly erect, ears; short, level, back; gd angles; straight & parallel but he just needed to get going on the move so as to more effectively show off his assets. OD (2,0) 1 Thompson-Morgan & Lazenby's Ch Tinkave Vibe Setter At Belleville Ww25; 2.5yrs; beautifully short, bodied & sound; so keen & active; exact head proportions; well defined stop; wedge of a muzzle; framed by ruff; neck with some length; so well angulated fore & aft; tight elbows; short in back & loin; spot on tailset & carriage; immaculate short, wiry, jacket; straight & parallel mover with hocks flexing to show his pads; a privilege to go over him. CC & BOB 2 Inett, Harrison & Page's Winflash Feather Furever; rising 3yrs & sire of the 2nd in JD; choc full of breed type & so compact with gd substance & bone; keenly expressive wedge-shaped head; gd neck & forehand; short & level; wearing a hard wiry jacket plus ruff; ex tail carriage; where he was exceptional was his immaculate soundness really driving & flexing off a short, strong, hock. Res Dog CC that evidently totted up with others to give him his well deserved title. Congratulations. JB (3,2) 1 Smith's Javidel Silence Is Golden; 14m grizzle; litter sister to the JD & Ch Ragus sired; keen expression courtesy of a dark oval eye & wellset ear; well bodied being short with gd depth; best of jackets & tailset; frankly she was quite the “Diva” , I've noted in my judging book, seeking out her owner despite her handler's best efforts, and prepared to go through her paces only on her terms; I suspect she's going to be one challenging the v best of her sex PGB (1,0) 1 Ouverney's Casahasabi Paint My Love; 2yrs & what's not to like with so many breed points present & correct & a close wiry jacket so expertly trimmed; wickedly keen eye & well set ears; strong muzzle; facial ruff; short & compact; textbook tailset with erect carriage; so sound on the move with parallel drive off her hocks & on cat feet; destined to rise up the ranks. LB (2,1) 1 Dragon & Tate's Jaeva Joy Ride; 20m b/t who immediately spelled “class”; the most lovely head & eye with the best of muzzles; enviable neck; v gd substance; so short & compact; best of quarters that were well muscled; spot on tailset & carriage; such a wiry, immaculate, jacket; she was shown to distinct advantage & a joy to go “hands on”; she is barely out of her teens & can still mature on to even greater advantage; certain to make up & marked that classiness with Res Bitch CC OB (1,0) 1 Inett, Harrison & Crawley's Javidel Miss Moneypenny; rising 2yrs grizzle; she excelled in type & body, having the advantage of substance through greater maturity; ideal head proportions & so expressive; ideal shape being short & deep with short loin; ideal tailset & carriage & her jacket was pretty ideal too; above all else she was ultra sound & flexed her parallel hocks to show her pads as she drove forward; such full value on top form to annex the Bitch CC
