NORFOLK WELSH KC 16 Norfolk Terrier Judge: Mrs Z Thorn-Andrews BEST OF BREED : 4936 JENKINS Miss D Kinsridge Hey Ho NORFOLK JUDGE WELSH KENNELL CLUB 16 Norfolk Terriers VD (1) A . MPD (1) 1 Philip’s Nordalset Made To Boogie, smart pup, attractive personality & showing well for age. Liked his head & dark oval eyes, sound front, excellent topline, neat rear. Tail comes over too far & he is still a trifle fat. Moved OK. PD (1) 1 RCC, Horne’s Marchdens Mark My Words, lovely boy, liked his strength of head & muzzle, neat ears, OK in front but he is a little too wide coming towards. OK for bone, feet a wee bit flat. Great body & quarters & well set tail. In good coat & body. JD (2,1a) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Call Of Duty, lovely neck set into shoulders but he needs a touch more length to upper arm & front movement could be improved, good bone & tight feet, level short back, tail carries over back too much. In lovely jacket. Moved well in rear. PGD (1) 1 Ward & Hamar’s Gorden’s Boy, good head, pleasing expression, correct width of underjaw, fair front, ribbing could be a little longer maybe. Tail comes over too much. OK rear, maybe a touch more neck would improve. LD (2,1) 1 Gee’s Watercroft Chilli Pepper, very nice indeed & I admired his head & correct length of neck, good front & forechest, level back, tail set well. He was a little distracted & was crabbing up & down but overall a cobby, substantial boy of good quality. OD (3,1) 1 CC, Jenkins’ Ch Kinsridge Back Chat, nice to go over & he has wonderful balance of height to length, presenting a lovely picture standing which he keeps on the move. Eyes could be a shade darker & I disliked his tail, nearly flat to his back, but overall he is a beautiful Norfolk for type & deportment; 2 Atkinson’s Blakens I Look To You, beautifully muscled & very fit, his tail carriage was impressive & he was in great hard jacket. He is however rather too long in back & didn’t have the great balance of winner. Moved soundly & well handled. VB (2) 1 Green’s Wharfvalley Diamond Diva, very nice girl indeed, she was showing her heart out, moving truly & with some drive behind. Pleasing head & dark eyes, nicely set, well made right through & in lovely coat. A little star!; 2 Owens’ Penmire Lilac, older & also enjoying herself & know her job on the move. Topline not quite what it must have been a few years ago, but very attentive & still has lovely tight feet. MPB (3) 1 Hamar’s Lagdenfarm Pumpkin Pie, promising especially in rear which is really spot on. She is so flat over the shoulders that she paddles a little in front, but less weight should improve this. Good size, pleasing head & expression. Caot still soft especially on her head; 2 Gardener’s Northwool Jenni And Romance at Danalas, in better coat but very narrow across the quarters & flat in feet. Tail carried too far over back. Good body, lovely head & eye placement; 3 Bliss’ Kenberlynn Magic Moments over Stagbatch. PB (5,1) 1 RCC, Gee’s Watercroft Diamons N’pearls, lovely outline with a well set & carried tail which does improve the breed tremendously. She is still rather weak & lacks strength in movement but surely this will come with exercise. Very pleasing overall & should do well in future after a few more months maturing; 2 Darnell’s Jacquidon No Hesitation, solid & perhaps fitter than winner but a really bad screw tail put her second & her neck is short rather than medium in length. Great body & quarters are good, in lovely coat too; 3 Macartney’s Ivrig First Bit Of Joy. JB (6,1) 1 Green’s Wharfvalley Persuasion, super bitch, coat on the blow but she is super sound, pleasing conformation & size, holds herself proudly on the move & is very impressive; 2 Stevenson’s Brickin Made For You, in good jacket, tail comes over too far & she is rather wide coming towards. Lovely head & bright expression. Neat ears, good bone & cheeky disposition; 3 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Ovation. PGB (8,4) 1 BP, CC & BOB, Jenkins’ Kinsridge Hey Ho, still a puppy & very joyful! Just a bit over the top but great to see. I loved her outline & tail carriage, neat conformation & lovely outline. Not quite sturdy enough as yet, but that will come. Moving truly & with some style; 2 Gardener’s Perrisblu Liberty at Danalas, heavier with the most attractive head & deep pigment. Good backskull & strong muzzle, enough neck, she is between coat at present & rather long in back, but otherwise a really nice bitch all through; 3 Devereux’s Vichea Cash And Carry. LB (5) 1 Davies & Dixon’s Perrisblu Pricilla, she is a little ‘doggy’ & certainly overweight, but such a good strong bitch, true mover, well made & in lovely coat. Tail comes over too much but so did the second’s; 2 Gee’s Watercroft Pick Of The Pops, not quite as good in shoulders as winner & needs a touch more length of upper arm. Smart & well bodied, OK in rear & quite precise on the move, shows well; 3 Stevenson’s Brickin Simplicity. OB (7,4) 1 Jenkins’ Ch Kinsridge Top Tip, really nice quality bitch, pleasing to go over & nicely balanced for height to length proportions, stands on good legs & feet, enough angulation for the breed & a super head & expression. In good coat. Would like a better tail carriage as it is snapped to her back. Excellent mover; 2 Nunez’s Jaeva Tic Tac, she is a smallish bitch who is carrying too much weight for her size. Very neat, super temperament, pleasing head & eyes set well. Moved OK, will look better with half a pound less I thought; 3 Campbell’s Nordalset Mad About You. ZENA THORN ANDREWS
