NORFOLK SOUTHERN COUNTIES 17 Judge(s): SHERRIL L GOODWIN Jaeva Kennel had a great day today, some exciting Norfolks coming up, but I did also note bit, round, occasionally very light eyes which totally spoils the expression of the breed. Still some small teeth to report but super temperaments. I thank you all for the quality entry. Super class of quality. 1 Hess & Higgins' Umbrage Copacabana. Red with well balanced head, dark eye, correct front assembly, strong in hindquarters, moved with reach in front and good drive. 2 Hurrion's Villassa Jack Daniels. Another quality puppy, in excellent coat and condition, harsh red jacket, well balanced head, held super outline on the move. 3 Thompson-Morgan's Belleville Salut. 1 Jellings & Bakewell's Jaea Look 'N Look Again At Norwelston Lynjel. Lovely red dog, in super coat and condition, well balanced head, correct expression, firm neck, held topline on the move, well sprung ribs, short back, moved so well. RCC. 2 Stevenson's Brickin Pot Of Pickle. Another quality junior in good form, head was balanced, strong jaw, good bite when settled, moved out well, well presented. 3 Walker's Hedgefield Brucey Baby. 1 Brown's Dajean Dotty's Digger. Coat coming through, this happy boy who has a well balanced head, well placed ears and firm neck and shoulder, well handled by his proud owner, moved a little wide in front. 2 Walker's Hedgefield Brucey Baby. Dark eye, well placed ears, large perfect bite, well angulated in hindquarters, moved out well, feet could be better. 1 Atkinson's Charlie Blake At Moortop. Super head, correct expression, should do well, good for bone, correct shoulder, held his topline on the move which had reach and drive from strong quarters, excellent coat. 2 Horne's Marchdens Mark My Words. Quality boy, super head, correct bite, strong muzzle, good bone and feet, moved out well, in super coat and condition. Two promising boys. 1 Gullick & Tate's Arderry Penny Red To Jaeva TAF. The best of heads, loved his expression, just what I was looking for. Showmanship so typical, handler knows just how to get the very best from his dogs, good breed type, short, firm body, correct shoulder, firm in front, well angulated and moved out so well, in excellent coat and condition, shortlisted in a strong group, should make up with lots to spare. Loved him. 2 Newton's Ch Strathinver Sea The Stars. I remember judging him as a puppy and he has gone on to become a worthy champion. Another good breed type with good bone and feet and large perfect bite, coat needs attention. 3 Lloyd's Orison Custom Cut. 1 Simpson's Umbrage Longton Cum Megalex. Two very different types. Lovely boy, super expression, correct length of upper arm, good shoulder and well angulated in hindquarters, moved with ease. Best Veteran. 2 Green's Wharfvalley Diamond Diva. Very feminine, lovely sweet head, obviously loved by her proud owners, would prefer more length of leg which would assist with reach in front and drive from behind, disappointed that she was not present in the line-up of bitches. 1 Brown's Dajean Dotty's Digger. Lovely class. 1 & BP, Gee's Watercroft Pop Corn. Very promising girl in strong competition, excellent red coat well presented, feminine head, good stop and well placed ears. Super expression, firm body, good bone and feet, moved out well in front and drove out well from short firm hocks, should do well. 2 Atkinson's Moortop Candy Choice. Well balanced red girl in excellent coat and condition, promising, correct in shoulder, moved around the ring well, correct bone, lovely head. 3 Hurrion's Villassa All Be Design. Another quality class. 1 & RCC, Gullick & Tate's Jaeva Blue Lagoon. Super outline, so typical and promising. Loved her make and shape, feminine head, well sprung rib, firm in topline held on the move, showgirl handled to perfection, correct feet, moved out well. 2 Stevenson's Brickin All For The Best. Lovely head, dark eye, large perfect bite, good shoulder, coat well presented, drove out well from firm hocks, another showgirl in strong competition. 3 Phillips' Blakens Kiss It Better. 1 Gee's Watercroft Suzie'Q. Promising feminine head, well placed ears, large bite, super expression, coat texture well presented, lovely bone and feet, correct tail set and moved so well. Breeder has a lovely type of Norfolks. 2 Thompson-Morgan's Belleville Cool Summer. Pleasing bitch, good eye and expression, correct front and shoulder, well balanced, good coat, as expected from this kennel, a little spooky today. 3 Freeman's Buttons Rambles. 1 & BCC, Gullick & Tate's Jaeva Hells Fire. Loved her make and shape, in excellent coat, well presented, very promising, super head, well placed ears, correct length of upper arm, good movement both ways, correct feet, handled to perfection. Her crown will come. 2 Thompson-Morgan's Belleville Ovation. Smashing girl, feminine head, good pigmentation, correct expression, firm in muzzle, correct bite, moved out well holding firm topline, super coat and condition, should make up. 3 Devereux's Vichea Little Gem. 1 Gee's Watercroft Pop Picker. Feminine head, correct ears and expression, well presented red girl with promise, firm neck into correct shoulders, nice front and feet, good quarters, good breed type. 2 Thompson-Morgan's Allright Black Bess (Imp Deu). Spooked by the noise in the ring next door but did compose herself. B/t. She's a good type, good front, nice head and expression, overall well balanced and presented a good outline on the move. 3 Phillips' Ch Blakens Tootie Fruitie. |
