NORFOLK JUDGE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 14

PD (9,1a)

1 Jenkins’ Krisma Flashback to Kinsridge, a top quality pup with it all in front of him. Strong head, good bite, lovely neck & shoulders, level topline, strong hindquarters which he used well on the move. Showed really well to gain BP. Surely destined for more success;

2 Phillips’ Blakens Pay Back, another promising youngster. Good outline, short level back, well angulated hindquarters, moved & showed well;

3 Mounfield’s Arderry Son Of A Gun.

JD (2)

1 Gee’s Watercroft In A Pickle, very typy young dog. In very good coat & condition, strong head & muzzle, short level back, strong quarters, good legs & feet. Not an easy dog to handle;

2 Atkinson’s Blakens Sugar Candy Dips, not as mature as 1 & lacking his finish. In time I believe will do well as he has all the essentials.

PGD (3,1)

1 Stevenson’s Brickin Countrywide, nice size, very gassy temperament. Needs time to settle. Short level back;

2 Philip’s Nordalset Got That Look.

LD (4)

1 Phillips, Gullick & Tate’s Jaeva Cufflink, took my eye when he entered the ring. A top drawer dog that has quality all through. He showed his socks off. Lovely head & a beautiful dark eye that gave the correct expression. Strong bone, legs & feet. Moved true both ways. Short level back, powerful hindquarters, coat just coming to its best. Pulled out all the stops in the challenge. CC & BOB;

2 Phillips’ Blakens The Kandy Man Kan, another top quality dog whose type I really like. Strong head & muzzle, coat & condition were second to none. He presented a lovely picture but just didn’t cope as well with the ground today;

3 Ackling’s Ruby Rueben.

OD (4,1)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Seduction, a lovely dog whose movement was superb. Very gassy & not the easiest to control but quality all through. Absolutely tore round the ring holding his shape at all times. A close decision for the CC. RCC;

2 Green’s Wharfvalley Diamond Star, another nice sort of dog. Strong head, dark eye, in good coat & condition, moved & showed OK;

3 Brown’s Dajean Dotty’s Digger.

V (2)

1 Smith’s Hatchwoods Smokescreen, in very good condition for age who enjoyed the day;

2 Hess & Higgins’ Kapitada Fireopal at Umbrage, nice type, in good coat. Not moving as well as 1.

GC (2)

1 Howard’s Hatchwoods Flemenco, nice type, showy, short level back, in good coat & condition, moved OK;

2 H Smokescreen.

PB (9,1)

1 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tipple, promising puppy who was more finished than 2 & 3 on the day. Dark eye, short level back, in good coat & condition, strong hindquarters, moved & showed well for a baby;

2 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Summer Crunch, another promising youngster who needs time to settle to the job. Has all the essentials to do well;

3 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Tip, made a trio of quality puppies.

JB (6)

1 Phillips, Gullick & Tate’s Jaeva Play The Ace, very attractive, eyecatching bitch, lovely head & expression, good neck & shoulders, level topline, strong quarters, in good coat & condition. The best carried tail on the day. Just looked a bit high on the leg;

2 Hurrion’s Villassa Star Turn, typy bitch but not the ring presence of 1. In good coat & condition, moved & showed well;

3 Broom’s Roxway Fable.

PGB (7,3)

1 Howard’s Hatchwoods Last Tango, a lovely bitch, so good to go over. Strong head, dark eye, clean neck & shoulders, short level back with high set tail, powerful quarters that she used on the move. Attitude to burn. Just one problem, pity;

2 Bettesworth’s Kapitada Whoops A Daisy, in very good body condition, good coat texture, strong hindquarters, moved OK;

3 Woolnough’s Jaeva Fine Romance.

LB (4,2)

1 Jenkins’ Strathiver Roses Are Red at Kinsridge, nice size, clean neck & shoulders, in good body condition, short level back, powerful quarters, moved & showed well. Would prefer a stronger head but her other qualities gained her the RCC;

2 New’s Raven Beauty, in good coat & condition, strong skull, level topline, moved & showed well;

3 Hess & Higgins’ Umbrage The Jubilant.

OB (5,2)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Just Magic, a beautiful bitch who is so good to go over. Strong skull, dark eye, lovely neck & shoulders, straight front, short level back with high set tail, strong quarters, in good coat & condition, moved & showed very well. A class act. CC;

2 Gee’s Watercroft Hot Diamonds, nice type of bitch, in good coat & condition, moved & showed OK;

3 Smith’s Javidel Definitely Maybe.
