NORFOLK JUDGE SOUTH WALES 13

Norfolk Terriers

While not a big entry I felt that there was a lot of quality throughout. I was very happy with the challenge line-ups.

PD

1 Blakens Sugar Candy Dips, 6 months, beautiful balance & structure, consequently went very well holding a firm topline on the move. Good skull. Can strengthen a little in foreface. Great temperament;

2 Belleville Stocking Up, 6 months, very typy but not as firm or as forward as 1 in body & topline. Preferred his head to 1 & he is well constructed but not the collection on the move or the topline.

JD

1 Blakens The Candy Man, 14 months, very smart, excellently coated dog, very good outline held on the move. Well angulated at both ends which gives him excellent movement. Very good head proportions. Just needs a little more finish to chest but he is young & has great promise & quality;

2 Brymarden Snow Patrol, 11 months, slightly bigger dog with very good head & eye. A little heavy in body & this shows in his topline which needs to firm up. Excellent quarters & rear action. A little wide in front.

PGD

1 Belleville Seduction, 11 months b/t, excellent size, proportions & movement. Very good head, strong foreface, in excellent coat, carried himself well. BP.

LD

Two very different types, both excellent in their own way & it was not an easy decision.

1 Kinsridge Cash Back, sturdy, strong boned dog, good proportions & moved well. Strong skull. Eye a little round. Could be a little firmer in condition but when he got his act together looked lovely for type & carriage;

2 Ruby Rueben, very typy dog out of a smaller lighter mould than 1. Better tailset, went well. Preferred substance of 1. In good coat & has excellent balance & topline.

OD

Good class. 1 Blakens Xpress Yourself, smart dog, lovely carriage & very good head & proportions, very good rear, scored in good quarters. Not yet fully mature in chest but I liked him a lot. In excellent coat. CC & BOB;

2 Strathinver Smart Enough, lovely body shape & movement, very good head. Just tends to fly his ears but loved his body shape & movement. Good coat, excellent topline. RCC.

VD

1 Hoathnor Jackanory, 10 years, in good form & holding firm topline. A little long for balance & head is a touch narrow but still fit & sound, in good coat.

GCD

1 H Jackanory.

PB

1 Strathinver Roses Are Red at Kinsridge, 9 months, best body & balance in the class, good topline & quarters, scored in strength of muzzle & coupling;

2 Wharfvalley Wild Child, 10 months, good rib & coat. Not quite as short as 1. Moved well from good quarters. Just needs to strengthen a little in foreface now but has time for that;

3 Perrisblu Playtime.

JB

1 Belleville Just Magic, 13 months, lovely size & type, very good movement. In need of a new coat but scored decisively in head here;

2 Blakens Sugar Candy Kisses, looked my winner on the first circuit. In wonderful coat, lovely bodied bitch, very good mover. Needed more width in skull & strength of foreface;

3 Brickin Wild Ivy. BPB.

PGB

1 Raven Beauty, b/t, lovely head, strong skull & muzzle, sound moving, in good coat.

LB

1 Javidel Definitely Maybe, b/t, excellent body & balance, good width to skull, sound & in good coat. Tail a little tight but hard topline & firm true movement took her to CC.

OB

1 Ch Villassa Cherry Ripple, in good coat & full of type, excellent head, strength in skull & muzzle, very good topline, good quarters & rear action. A little wide in front & I think a touch less weight would help her. However her type & quality took her to RCC.
