NORFOLK JUDGE SKC MAY 16
Thank you for a lovely entry of quality Norfolks. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and thank you for travelling so far to enter under me. Thank you also to my two wonderful stewards who made the experience even more enjoyable.
Puppy – Dog (1,0)
1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Spell It Out, smart puppy with lovely eye and good bite. Well bodied with good bone. Moved soundly front and back covering the ground well.
Junior – Dog (3,0)
1 Gee’s Watercroft Chilli Pepper, in beautiful condition and trim. Lovely head with a dark eye and good bite. Well bodied with good spring of rib. Moved soundly both ways making a well-balanced picture. RCC;
2 Newton’s Strathinver Sea The Stars, lovely to go over. Well angulated quarters. Compact body and sound mover. Not showing himself off to best advantage today;
3 Atkinson’s Charlie Blake at Moortop.
Limit – Dog (1,0)
1 Atkinson’s Moortop Marks Delivery, lovely head with nice eye and well placed ears. Nice length of neck and good spring of rib. Beautiful coat.
Open – Dog (3,1)
1 Atkinson’s Blakens I Look To You, loved this balanced b&t male. In lovely coat of correct texture. Masculine head with dark eye. Well angulated quarters, good bone and spring of rub. Lovely tail set and carriage. Moved soundly with drive creating a wonderful picture. He held his own and looked lovely in the big ring for the group later in the day. CC & BOB;
2 Gullick’s Ch Jiffy Golden Go To Jaeva (Swe Imp), very smart showman in good coat. Lovely head and expression. Not as sound behind as my winner today.
Puppy – Bitch (6,1)
What a lovely class of puppies. I have no doubt their placings will switch over the coming months and I look forward to seeing how they all develop.
1 Green’s Wharfvalley Persuasion, quality puppy throughout. Very appealing head and expression. In lovely coat and trim. Good bone and well bodied. Well angulated and moved steadily and soundly both ways. BP;
2 Atkinson’s Moortop Clear Choice, another lovely puppy with lovely head and in perfect coat. Moved and showed well;
3 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Ovation
Junior – Bitch (4,1)
1 Phillips’ Blakens Tootie Fruitie, quality bitch that took my eye from the moment she entered the ring. Best mover in the class. Feminine head with lovely dark eye and well placed ears. Good length of neck into compact body, good bone and well sprung ribs. Well angulated throughout. Moved with drive and balance. RCC;
2 Gee’s Watercroft Pick Of The Pops, another lovely bitch, in great coat and condition. Very appealing head and expression. Moved well;
3 Gee’s Watercroft Saffron.
Limit – Bitch (6,2)
1 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tipple, well proportioned bitch with lots to like. Lovely head and expression with good bite. Good length of neck onto well angulated quarters. Moved well both ways;
2 Stevenson’s Brickin Simplicity, a lovely b&t bitch with nice head and very pretty expression. Well-made throughout but a little over excited today, did move soundly when settled;
3 Gee’s Watercroft Confetti ShCM
Open – Bitch (2,0)
1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Summer Crunch, completely fell for this quality bitch. Lovely head with feminine yet terrier expression, good length of neck into well laid shoulder. Good bone and spring of rib. Moved soundly with drive on well angulated quarters. In lovely coat and showing well, CC;
2 Green’s Wharfvalley Wild Child, well made throughout and moving very soundly both ways. Just lacking in coat and furnishings today.
