NORFOLK JUDGE SKC MAY 15

Norfolk Terriers

The Norfolk entry sadly is never as good north of the border but I was very pleased with today’s being one more than last year thus being a positive sign. My entry today was most certainly the cream of the breed being shown at the moment many decisions being very close , the breed is in good form with very few bad mouths & the overall size is correct, the smallest of the terrier group. Thank you for the bringing some exceptional dogs for me to judge.

PD (3)

1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Back Chat, lovely short back, very cobby, good bone, great head, neck & shoulders. Good tailset really sound mover. BP;

2 Atkinson’s Moortop Marks Delivery, another nice type, in good coat, nice head & ears, short back & good mover;

3 Gee’s Watercroft Coin A Phrase.

JD

1 Phillips & Gullick’s Jiffy Golden Go to Jaeva, very nice young dog stood alone but well deserved the CC. He has a lovely head, correct bite, well laid shoulders, good topline, in an ideal world would like a straighter tail, good rearend & he moves so well around the ring. A very nice dog!

LD (4) 1 Jenkins’ Krisma Flashback to Kinsridge, another really good type, this kennel certainly stamps the type, he won the class easily with his very good front assembly, lovely body, shown in good coat & condition, missed his handler in the challenge;

2 Phillips’ Blakens Pay Back, another quality dog, shown in good coat & condition, just not the front of winner;

3 Atkinson’s Blakens I Look To You.

OD 1 Gee’s Watercroft In A Pickle, lovely type, good head with small dark eye, good neck & shoulders, good front, shown in good coat. He moved really well & deserved the RCC.

PB (3,1a)

1 Gullick & Tate’s Jaeva Hells Fire, what a promising puppy, she only needs to mature to beat the best. She has a wonderful head & eye, neat ears, good neck, level topline & she moves around the ring so very well;

2 Atkinson’s Moortop Just The One, unlucky to meet winner in such form. She is a very promising puppy, nice head & expression good body, moves well.

LB (2,1a)

1 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tipple, lovely bitch, short coupled, good head, nice eye, level topline, well muscled hindquarters, moved very well. RCC.

OB 1 Jenkins’ Ch Kinsridge Top Tip, what can you say about this well known bitch, she fits the Standard so well! She is the ultimate show dog & for a Norfolk quite amazing as she shows so very well, she is as one with her handler, one of the best Norfolks I have judged. She has a textbook head & expression, neat ears, she has that lovely slight arch to her neck, so short in body, good muscled rear & she moves around the ring as if she owns it, I was so pleased to award her the CC & BOB, it cannot be long before she breaks into that top four in the group;

2 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tia, another very nice one, unfortunate to meet the winner on such form. Not disgraced though as she has a very typical head & expression, good body, well muscled rear, shows & moves well;

3 Green’s Wharfvalley Wild Child.
