NORFOLK JUDGE SKC 13

Norfolk Terrier

P/D (1)

1st Jenkins, KINSRIDGE CASH BACK. Stood alone and a bit unsettled in the class with no competition around him. But lots of breed type about him, a youngster that’s maturing nicely, pleasing head shape with good expression, short and compact, straight front and good feet, kept a good top-line and tail set on the move. Look a different dog in the chalange keen and alert using his ears to full advantage, went around the ring covering the ground with ease, true in front and plenty of drive in the rear, in good coat, that’s when I desided to give him the CC and B.O.B. best mover on the day.

J/D (0)

L/D (4,2a)

1st Philips, BLAKENS XPRESS YOURSELF. Looked good in profile, good in head and body, nice make and shape with good ring presence, dark eyes and good ear placement, correct bite, well bodied with strong quarters, moved well, good coat and tail set, Res CC.

2nd Jenkins, KINSRIDGE QUIDS IN. Litter brother to my CC winner, very similar, but not has mature as him. Moved well, coat a little soft.

O/D (3,1a)

1st Atkinson, MOORTOP NO CHOICE. Masculine dog with plenty bone and substance, sound enough through out and with a lot of breed type to him. Nice size and well presented. Good head and expression, short and compact, a lot of width to his front but moved soundly, good tail set and harsh coat.

2nd Smith, JAVIDEL MAY JUST HAVE TO. Another nice dog of type, pleasing head shape, dark eyes and good ear placement, well put together and with good out-lines, moved well keeping a level top-line, in good condition.

P/B (3,2a)

1st Philips, BLAKENS SUGAR CANDY. Beautiful expression, and almost to pretty to be a Norfolk. Very typical of the breed in type and temperament, keen and alert. Short in back, moved very well around the ring and in good condition, nice coat, Res CC.

2nd Atkinson, MOORTOP ANOTHER NO CHOICE. Coming along steadily and looked good in profile, good in head and body, nice in size and shape, stronger bitch not as settled on the move has the first place.

J/B (3,1a)

1st Gee, WATERCROFT TOP OF THE POPS. Nice in type, short, keen and alert, enough substance, pleasing out-lines using its ears and tail to an advantage, moved well once settled done,

2nd Pound, KINSRIDGE REAL DEAL AMONG URSAS. Good ear carriage and dark eyes, moved around the ring keeping a level top-line.

L/B (1)

Gee, WATERCROFT WEDDING BELLE. Good in head, nice ear placement and dark eyes, correct mouth, sort in back, strong quarters, moved well but could do better with moor ring craft, nice harsh coat.

O/B (2)

1st Stevenson, BRICKIN HOP AND SKIP, Nice in type and good out-lines over all, good head and expression, dark eye, correct ears and mouth, nice neck and shoulders, short in back, strong quarters and tail set, moved with ease around the ring, keeping a good top-line, great coat, CC had the please of making this one up I think it was long over due.

2nd Sweigart & Beale, YARROW VENERIE TIP THE SCALES. A Smaller bitch all over, a rich deep color, really confident in the ring which is bomb proof for this breed, well put together and with good out-lines, moved very well.

Judge Mr. Colin Powell.
