NORFOLK JUDGE RICHMOND 15

Norfolk Terriers

It is always a pleasure to judge one’s own breed & to see & handle the exhibits & I thank those who entered for giving me such a nice day. It is nice to see a high standard of presentation & trimming in some of the Norfolks but I do think that some of them are no longer up to size.

VD (1)

1 Bowes’ Bowanne Teddy Bear, good hard red coat, good size & dark eye, moving well & looking very well for his age. BV.

PD (1)

1 Newton’s Strathinver Sea The Stars, young puppy not really used to showing & not moving well, needs more practise, good sized dog, good conformation.

JD (3)

1 Atkinson’s Moortop Marks Delivery, moving out & returning nicely, nice head with dark eye, good ear carriage & nicely put together;

2 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Back Chat, good head, well put together, nice harsh coat, not moving as well as 1;

3 Bowes’ Bowanne Alfie.

PGD (1,1a).

LD (2,1)

1 Atkinson’s Blakens I Look To You, b/t dog, moving out & returning well, nice harsh coat for a b/t, nice head with a dark eye. OD (5,1) 1 Phillips’ Blakens Pay Back, good quality red dog, ideal size, good head & body, moving well front & back, good tail carriage, a very good example of the breed. My CC winner, BOB;

2 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Seduction, b/t, moving out well, not so good on the return, good head & tail carriage another quality dog. My RCC;

3 Newton’s Strathinver Smart Enough.

VB (0).

PB (6,1)

1 Gees’ Watercroft Pop Piper, dark red coat with good eye & ear carriage, nice head, nicely put together, hopefully will grow on. My BP;

2 Jenkins’ Watercroft T’smaid at Kinsridge, nice dark eye, moving out well, good tail carriage, nice coat, well turned out; 3 Phillips’ Blakens Tootie Fruitie.

JB (6,2)

1 Britten’s Krisma Nip In The Air, nice short bitch, moving out well, very smart, turned out well, good eye & head, I am sure will have a good career;

2 Bowes’ Bowanne Silk Moth, good dark, harsh red coat, with a good mouth & dark eye, nice tailset & moving out well;

3 Devereux’s Vichea Heavens Above.

PGB (6,3)

1 Atkinson’s Moortop Just The One, nice red coated bitch, good ear carriage & dark eye, nicely put together;

2 Hess & Higgins’ Umbrage The Glorriana, older bitch, a bit longer in the back, good bone, nice harsh coat, topline showing a dip I suspect due to trimming;

3 Woolnough’s Jaeva Fine Romance.

LB (7)

1 Gee’s Watercroft Dream Topping, nice red bitch, in good coat, dark eye & good ear carriage, could do with being bigger. My RCC;

2 Thompson-Morgan’s Allright Black Bess, b/t, moving out well, good quality head & ear carriage, another good quality bitch, these two will change places on other days;

3 Stevenson’s Brickin Wild Ivy.

OB (3,1)

1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Tip, very good quality bitch, nice head, good ear carriage, well put together, moving out well behind. My CC, lost out to the dog on size;

2 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tia, very good tail, not moving as well as she could, well turned out.
