Norfolk Terriers

Some quality dogs here, but found some round eyes. Over long weak muzzles & miniscule teeth. Thought my BOB stood away.

MPD (7,2a)

1 Green’s Wharfvalley Diamond Star, nicely made red, good wedge, keen expression, level topline, well set tail & neat feet, nice prospect, moved well;

2 Phillips’ Jaeva Well I’ll Be Darned at Nordalset, compact, plenty of substance, good breadth of skull & pleased in ears, topline & set on. Preferred expression of 1. Took time to settle before moving quite well;

3 Devereux’s Vichea Pick Pocket.

PD (2)

1 Stevenson’s Penmire Wild Bramble by Brickin, good head proportions, compact, strong, plenty of bone, well placed & carried ears, nice lines & good set on, in good coat. Quite a handful on the move. Drove well from the rear;

2 Hess & Higgins’ Umbrage Ironstone, nice for size, dark eye & keen expression, neat ears & topline OK. Not as balanced as 1 on the move & needing his coat.

JD (2,1)

1 Smith’s Jaeva Come What May, biggish lad in full coat, but plenty to like. Good breadth of skull, strong muzzle, well defined stop, well ribbed up & well set tail, moved out well going away.

ND (1)

1 Jenkins’ Kingsridge Top Gun, took the eye, quality all through, well made & nice for size, full of himself & handler had to get a good grip to get the best out of him, head shape & proportions were plus points & scored in front & rear, compact & short, held a level topline, tail on top & once settled moved out well. RCC.

PGD (1)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Angello, well handled gassy red who went about his business with much energy, head, eye & ears OK, short, compact, good bone & well muscled up at rear, once gathered together put in a good round.

LD (3,1)

1 Fraser’s Jaeva Midas Touch at Saltarello, much to like, pleasing in head & expression, though a little short in neck. Compact & strong, well ribbed up & in good coat, moved out well, especially at rear;

2 Phillips’ Hey Smart Lookin at Nordalset, big lad needing a bit more coat. Masculine head, strong muzzle, good wedge, held a level topline, good set on. Not the reach & drive of 1.

OD (4,1)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Beleville Blacklace, cracking b/t, nice for size & quality all through, pleased in head, eye & expression, low to ground, short & compact, good rib & short firm loin, moved out so well with level topline & well set tail, covered the ground well showing pads. CC & BOB;

2 Lloyd’s Orison Bootlace, quite a nice b/t of good type, strong muzzle, correct stop, well placed ears, good bone & level topline, steady mover;

3 Mitchell’s Roxway Direct Line.

MPB (8,1)

1 Britten’s Kinsridge Maid In Manhatten for Krisma, quality red, does not want to grow on. Cracking head, eye & expression, compact, good substance & bone, pleased in neck, shoulder, topline & set on, moved out well;

2 Phillips’ Blakens Dolly Mixture, close up & plenty to like, keen & alert expression, good wedge, balanced all through, compact & well ribbed up. Once settled moved with plenty of reach & drive;

3 Hitchen’s Kreatin Kiss N Tell.

PB (6,2)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Red Dawn, put all in to take this class & had to, feminine, pleasing head, keen expression, nice lines in profile & on the move, well set tail & strong hindquarters, moved out so well. BP;

2 Fraser & Phillips’ Jaeva Goldilocks, nice red, much to like, pushed 1 hard, good head proportions, strong neck & well laid shoulders, compact, level topline, tail on top, moved out well once settled;

3 Phillips’ Vision Express at Blakens.

JB (9)

1 Phillips & Tate’s Jaeva Hells Fury, liked this b/t, scored in head, eye & ears, balanced all through, clean neck, level topline, strong rearend, neat feet. Just needed a bit more coat. Plenty of drive on the move, one to watch out for;

2 Ruffles’ Ruffnor Off The Peg, nice for size & pleased in head, ears & neck, lightish in eye, but all of a piece & once she got her act together was balanced on the move;

3 Phillips’ Blakens Party Popper.

NB (2)

1 Atkinson’s Moortop Katie’s Choice, livewire who scored in head, dark eye, keen expression, strong neck & level topline. A little long in loin, but had a well set tail & was balanced on the move;

2 Mackison’s Foxhouse Forever Faithfull Ay Ballyhay, pleased in head properties, ear shape & topline. A little short on neck for balance & just coming into her coat. Covered the ground adequately once she settled to move.

PGB (4)

1 Hitchen & Thompson’s Belleville China Lace, small, low to ground, well balanced all through, head shape, eye & ears all plus points, smart little mover, nice lines, good set on & in excellent coat & condition;

2 Phillips’ Belleville Luck Be A Lady at Nordalset, sharp, keen expression & up for the job, pleased in head, topline & tailset. Ears somewhat akimbo & a little short on coat, but moved out with plenty of drive;

3 Simpson’s Megalex Elusive Dream.

1 Stevenson’s Brickin Skip Away, compact, strong, pleasing head shape, broad skull, well placed & carried ears, dark eye, keen expression, clean neck & balanced overall, covered the ground well on the move;

2 Wilding’s Zazmeer Zoddle, head proportions OK, strong clean neck & plenty of substance & bone, well set tail & good quarters. A little erratic at first, but moved quite well going away;

3 Hess & Higgins’ Kapitada Fire Opal at Umbrage.

OB (6,3)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Intuition, cracking red, compact, short backed, well made all through, pleased in head, strong muzzle, well defined stop & strong neck, displayed nice lines in profile, good set on & moved freely, showing pads. CC;

2 Matell’s Cracknor Custom Made, head proportions OK, broad skull, good wedge & ears of correct shape & size, roundish eye, though dark, detracts somewhat but she is short, compact & has substance & good bone. Well ribbed up, tail on top, moved out well once settled;

3 Phillips & Jones’ Jaeva Bag Of Tricks. Best Breeder Thompson-Morgan, well schooled & handled, showing type & balanced movement.
