NORFOLK JUDGE MIDLAND COUNTIES 14

Norfolk Terriers

MPD (1)

1 Phillips & Gullick’s Jiffy Golden Go to Jaeva, 8 months red of exciting potential, balanced head, keen eye, excellent bite & dentition, well balanced outline with ample neck, big ribs, optimum bone & excellent angulation front & back. Covers the ground well in profile, goes away true, just needs to tighten a little in front, excellent jacket coming through. Should finish up well.

PD (2)

Two super youngsters of obvious champion quality.

1 Jenkins’ Krisma Flashback to Kinsridge, 11 months red of ideal size & shape, super head & expression, excellent bite, solid body, well boned & in great coat. Sound & steady mover who opens up impressively in profile. Well deserved the RCC & BP in hot competition. Should have a great future;

2 Phillips’ Blaken Pay Back, almost 12 months, chunky red with great attitude. Has a really striking outline, solid & so well constructed, nicely balanced head, good bite, not quite as dark & expressive in eye as 1 & he needs to tighten in front.

JD (3)

1 Atkinson’s Blakens I Look To You, 14 months b/t of excellent type & size, very appealing head & expression, nicely boned & ribbed but could carry a tad more bodyweight to advantage. Correctly textured coat, moved steadily. Good bite;

2 Broom & Davies’ Roxway Quite Enough, 15 months red, more compact than 1 but not quite his scope on the move. Pleasing expression with good bite but not as strong in foreface as 1. Quality coat well presented, not as positive going away as 1;

3 Atkinson’s Boduf Trailblazer at Manybrook.

PGD (1)

1 Atkinson’s Blaken Sugar Candy, yearling red of good basic type but could have a stronger, better balanced head to match his body. In great coat, well boned & ribbed, plenty of daylight underneath him, makes a very pleasing overall picture but tends to chuck his front about coming on.

LD (4)

1 Newton’s Strathniver Smart Enough, red who won the class on his excellent overall construction & movement, coupled with very pleasing basic type. He doesn’t always use his ears to advantage, so can sometimes look a little open in expression but when he focuses his head & expression please, good bite. Very well boned & bodied & nicely balanced throughout;

2 Gee’s Watercroft In A Pickle, has more appeal in expression than 1 & his presentation was superb, loved his size & shape, opened up well on the go-around but he could be much firmer in hock. Sturdily made with excellent body & balance;

3 Darnell’s Jacquidon Tough As A Nut.

OD (4)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Seduction, b/t of great quality who fair trucked around the ring like a man on a mission. Well balanced all through & so well knit. Unexaggerated head, good bite. Typical expression, firm well ribbed body, stands well on his legs, in full coat, well presented, really impressive mover. Well deserved the CC & BOB;

2 Phillips’ Blakens The Kandy Man, another high quality dog, this time red, very appealing head & expression, correct bite, chunky solid body but a little stuffier in neck than 1. In great coat well presented & gave a good account of himself going around but is rather untidy coming on;

3 Jenkins’ Ch Kinsridge Cash Back.

MPB (4)

1 Darnell’s Jacquidon Next Sensation, 6 months b/t, feminine head, appealing expression, good bite, solid body but a small compact overall package. Big ribbed, enough bone, promising coat. By far the most composed mover in the class but still needs to tighten in front;

2 Cooper’s Settrenda Sweet N Tiddly, 6 months red whose head is not exactly classical but she is so well constructed & bodied. Head will have more appeal when she gets more coat & the bite is good. Excellent coat texture, moved soundly when she settled but just needs to get her act together & concentrate when moving. Still a baby so she has plenty of time;

3 Walshe’s Monalou Bagel at Beritas.

PB (1)

1 Devereux’s Vichea Little Gem, 9 months red in excellent coat, feminine head of good type, enough bone, small but substantial & well balanced – stands well on her legs, goes around with style but could be a little truer up & down which hopefully will improve with age.

JB (5)

1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Tip, this 13 months red is possibly rather more petite than I normally go for but she has enough bone & the biggest white teeth in a good bite. She is impeccably schooled & a natural posing machine. Feminine head so full of expression, sturdy body, short coupled, well balanced, optimum angles throughout, in great coat & such a sound mover when she decided she wasn’t a coiled spring! Impressed me sufficiently to take what was evidently her second CC, will make up with ease. Couldn’t resist her;

2 Hurrion’s Villassa Star Turn, almost 18 months this red has lots to like & is of an excellent overall stamp. Charming head & expression, very well balanced outline, coming into good coat of excellent texture, moved around well just not as true coming on as 1;

3 Saltmarsh’s Pipridges Holly.

PGB (5)

1 Green’s Wharfvalley Wild Child, feminine red, small but substantial, sassy expression, lots of attitude & well balanced all through. Enough coat of excellent texture, well ribbed, firm topline, feminine head with good bite, moved steadily;

2 Saltmarsh’s Pipridges Hazel, more matronly than 1 & longer cast. What could be termed somewhat ‘old fashioned’ in head inasmuch as it is correctly balanced without exaggeration or overtyping. Really solid body, great bone & ribs, decent coat. Not moving with the enthusiasm of 1;

3 Bettesworth’s Kapitada Whoops A Daisy.

LB (2)

1 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tia, cobby red, all of a piece & in great jacket. Very pleasing expression, good bite, compact body, big ribbed & well boned, opens up well in profile, goes away true but could be cleaner coming in. Loved her attitude & her tailset & carriage;

2 Broom’s Roxway Fable, feminine red, shapely bad if good basic type but not quite the expression & foreface of 1 & moving she is rather restricted in profile, not having the open side gait of 1. In good enough coat.

OB (3)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Just Magic, gassy little red full of attitude & she moves around with great scope. Feminine head, excellent bite, ample bone & rib, well set & carried tail. Couldn’t get past the lovely head & expression of the junior bitch but well deserved the RCC;

2 Phillips’ Ch Blakens Sugar Dandy Kisses, cobby red possibly a little stronger headed but I would like a little more behind the tail. Very much all of a piece, stands so well on her legs, fabulous coat & presentation & another well set & carried tail, not quite the scope of 1 on the go around;

3 Smith’s Ch Javidel Definitely Maybe.
