NORFOLK JUDGE LEEDS 14

Norfolk Terriers

PD (4,1a)

1 Atkinson’s Blakens I Look To You. a smart b/t youngster, attractive head with a very dark expressive eye, good forehand, well boned with well padded feet. Booby & short backed with a good topline & tailset. Good hind angulation & moved well with some drive from the rear;

2 Jenkins’ Krisma Flashback to Kinsridge, good skull, neat ears & strong jaw. Well balanced with a cobby, well ribbed body & good topline & tailset. Moved out well;

3 Simpson’s Megalex Now Or Never.

JD (2)

1 Gee’s Watercroft In A Pickle, a good quality dog of lovely type & style. Very good head & expression, decent forehand with good bone & well laid shoulder. Strong well muscled & nicely angulated hindquarters. Good jacket;

2 Atkinson’s Boduf Trailblazer at Manybrook, not quite the forehand of the winner but very typical, well ribbed with a good topline & tailset. Strong well muscled & well angulated hindquarters, could quite match the presentation of the winner but his jacket is a good texture.

PGD (2)

1 Atkinson’s Blakens Sugar Candy Dips, he has a good head & eye which give him a most pleasing expression. Well laid shoulders with a strong sturdy, well ribbed body. Good jacket. Sound on the move;

2 Simpson’s Umbrage Longton cum Megalex, a delightful character with a pleasing expression & lovely strong jaws with big white teeth, not quite as compact as the winner, good strong hindquarters gave him some drive from the rear.

OD (4,2)

1 Phillips, Gullick & Tate’s Ch Jaeva Cufflink, a handsome good quality dog with a pleasing head, dark expressive eye, strong jaw. Good forehand, well bone with well laid shoulders. Cobby & well ribbed. Good hindquarters which are well muscled with plenty behind the tail. Shown in full coat which is a very good texture & he moved soundly & accurately. BOB & I was pleased to see him make the cut in the strong terrier group;

2 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Quids In, another lovely quality dog of really good type & balance. Short backed & well ribbed with a good tailset. Well muscled & moved with some propulsion from the rear. Shown with a hard, wiry close fitting jacket. RBD.

PB (4,2)

1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Tip, delightful temperament & obviously enjoyed her day out! Absolutely makes the most of herself as she arched her neck & reviewed what was happening around her. Good forehand with adequate bone, compact & well ribbed with an excellent topline & tailset. Pleasing head & expression. Harsh well presented jacket. Moved well with a driving action. BP;

2 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tipple, less finished than the winner but well balanced & very typical. Good shoulders. Cobby & well ribbed with a very good tailset & carriage.

JB (0).

PGB (1)

1 List’s Nicnips Evensong, very pleasing head & expression, good forehand with well laid shoulders. Fair rib but could carry a little more weight to advantage, good topline & tailset. Very good profile action.

OB (3,1)

1 Smith’s Javidel Definitely Maybe, a well balanced, smart b/t shown in a full jacket which is a good texture. Pleasing head, very good rib & body, short backed with strong well muscled hindquarters with plenty behind the tail. Moved well with some drive from the rear. BB;

2 Gee’s Watercroft Hot Diamonds, lovely head & expression, dark eye and strong jaw, well balanced with a short compact body & good topline & tailset. Not quite the maturity of body as yet of the winner but she does have a lot of quality & moved soundly with some style. RBB.
