Norfolk Terriers

An interesting & generally high quality entry. I was especially pleased with my top winners, but some of the others came very close & in several classes it was fine margins that gave me my eventual winners.

A really high quality class throughout.

1 Phillips’ Jaeva Peeping Tom, 10 months b/t, compact with promising head, coat in good condition, well presented, short in back, true on the move both ways. BP;

2 Phillips’ Blakens Xpress yourself, well presented red 8 months puppy, dark oval eye, good bite. Not quite as compact as 1 which reflect in movement;

3 Thompson’s Morgan’s Kreatin He’s No Angel, 9 months b/t, well turned out with dark oval eye, pleasing head proportions, good bite. Slightly longer in body than 1. Moved well both ways. Unlucky to come up against such good opponents.

1 Hilditch’s Watercroft Royal Mail, red, good for size, looked good in profile, moved better going out than returning.

PGD (1)

1 Newton’s Strathinver Smart Enough, red, scored on his size, topline, bite & dark oval eye. Not the best mover here. OD (5) Another quality class. 1 Phillips, Gulluck & Wilding’s Jaeva Made In Gold, red, correct for size, very masculine, well turned out, level topline, good tailset, balanced in profile, very animated on the move. Despite the best efforts of others, this boy took the eye. BOS, BOB;

2 Thompson’s Morgan’s Ch Belleville Burning Passion, red similar in size to 1, lovely head, well presented, moved confidently both ways. Very little to choose between 1 & 2 on the day. RBOS;

3 Green’s Wharfvalley Diamond Star.

1 Wilson’s Brickin Fashion Plate, 7 months red youngster who was spooked before her class which affected her performance & necessitated a patient approach. Nice coat but needs time to mature. I saw just enough on the move to award her 1st place. J

JB (2)

1 Thompson’s Morgan’s Belleville Honey Nut Crunch, compact typy red bitch, in super coat, lively & alert with good ear carriage, dark eye & good bite, moved well both ways. What a promising youngster who pushed so hard in final challenge for top honours. BOS, RBB;

2 Gee’s Watercroft Wedding Belle, well presented red, dark oval eye, good bite, nice for size. Moved out confidently, but not with the exuberance of 1. RBOS.

1 Gee’s Watercroft Hot Love, red with pleasing head, dark eye, well turned out. Slightly nervous throughout which spoiled the overall picture. Moved better out than coming back;

2 Atkinson’s Moortop Bright Girl, red not in the best coat & movement was a bit erratic. Moved better out than coming back.

OB (2)

1 Green’s Wharfvalley Diamond Diva, red, nice for size, large white teeth with correct bite, nicely balanced in profile. Lack of hair on muzzle detracted from overall picture. Moved out better than coming in.
