NORFOLK JUDGE LKA 18

I was very pleased with my entry, it's not easy with a short legged breed to get true movement, but this breed seems to do it, the majority were good movers. Heads need to be watched, some rather narrow in muzzle which then causes mouth problems. Thanks to my efficient ring stewards.

MPD (4, 1)

1 Hadfield's Bellville Born To Be Free. I liked this boy very much, looked quite finished. Nice head for his age, dark eye with a good expression, good in neck and shoulders. Well made body, good in hindquarters which he used well. Nicely balanced outline, in good coat, confident and liked his attitude.

2 Thompson-Morgan's Bellville High Spirit. Very similar to first but not as finished in head. Liked his overall balance and outline. Good body with a nice spring of ribs, well made hindquarters. In nice coat and condition. Needs to tighten up in front movement, but moves well behind.

3 Newton's Strathinver Time To Star.

PD (3)

1 Philip's Nordalset Festivities. Won this class on maturity. Has a good head and expression, good neck and shoulders. Well made body, good outline. Correct tailset, moved well both ways, showed well, not in the best of coats.

2 Newton's Strathinver Time To Star. Gave away lots in age and maturity to first. Needs to fill out in head which I'm sure will come as he grows. Nice body, good outline and correct tailset. Moved nicely with lots of confidence, needs a new coat.

JD (1)

1 Atkinson's Moortop My Mark Again. Alone but has lots of quality, smart youngster. He has a good head with well placed ears, dark eye and keen expression. Good outline, well ribbed body and correct tailset. Nice turn of stifle, moved well. In good coat and showed very well.

1 Newton's Strathinver Star Of Fortune. Nice type and good size. He has a nice head and expression. Good neck, shoulders, forechest and has a good body. Good tailset and strong hindquarters. Correct tailset, nice double coat, moved soundly both ways.

2 Stevenson's Brickin Quite By Chance. Another boy of nice type, nicely balanced outline. Pleasing head and expression, well made body with a good spring of ribs. Nice tight double coat, moved well when he went, just needs a bit more confidence.

3 Walker's Roxypark Spring Time.

1 Thomson-Morgan's Bellville Major Key. Very smart boy of good type and mature for his age. I really liked his head and expression, good reach of neck and shoulders. Straight front, well made body with a strong hindquarters. In a very nice coat, moved true and a smart showman. RCC winner which he well deserved.

2 Smith's Javidel Despicable May. Very similar to first in many ways. Quite mature, good head and expression, ears need to settle more. Good neck and shoulders, well made front. Well developed in body with strongly made hindquarters. Moved well.

3 Hess & Higgin's Umbrage Copacabana.

OD (3)
