NORFOLK JUDGE LKA 15

Minor Puppy – Dog (3,1)

1 Britten’s - Krisma Dark N'stormy. A short, chunky Norfolk pup full of type and mischief. A super head for age with good stop, excellent ears and eye. Strong neck, well placed shoulders and short back, plenty of bone for size. Propelled himself round the ring with reach and drive. Harsh coat in top condition. BP & RCC

2 Atkinson’s - Charlie Blake different type to one being more rangey and longer all through. At this stage he is also plainer in head. Good reach of neck, level topline with well set tail. Moved ok. Well schooled in excellent coat.

Puppy – Dog (4,2)

A difficult class to judge as both quite different.

1 Thompson-Morgan’s - Belleville Slip Stream Keen active dog who moved well when he settled. Good size and head proportions, dark eye and well placed ears. Enough neck and well placed shoulders. Level topline and well set tail. Excellent harsh coat well presented.

2 Gee’s - Watercroft Chilli Pepper sturdy young lad perhaps carrying a touch to much weight and with his very full coat did not present the picture of one. However he has a fabulous head and expression, compact body and super tail length and set. Good bone with lovely cat feet. Moved out well.

Junior – Dog (4,1)

1 Gee’s - Watercroft Coin A Phrase Smart B&T very masculine boy, Good width of skull, well set ears and dark eye. Perhaps could have a little better stop. Good length of neck, level topline. Moved well in front would prefer more rear propulsion. Well turned out and shown to advantage.

2 Atkinson’s - Marks Delivery another with excellent width of skull but for me a little short in muzzle. Neat ears, and dark eye. Short back but not the front and rear angulation of one which makes for a shorter less ground covering stride. Fabulous harsh coat, showed well.

3 Lloyd’s - Oriston Custom Cut

Limit – Dog (1,0)

1 Atkinson’s - Blakens I Look To You. A really smart B&T. Of correct size. He has very good head proportions, strong muzzle, neat ears and a dark eyes. Cobby body, level topline and tail is well set on. A steady mover with well let down hocks. Another with a harsh coat well presented.

Open – Dog (2,0)

1 Phillips - Ch Blakens Pay Back. So handsome! Every Inch a stallion. A very eye catching, masculine dog that shouts 'all male'. He has a fabulous head and a glint in his small dark eyes that made me smile. Excellent conformation all through, powerful neck with a well laid shoulder, to be critical he is a little short in upper arm but it doesn't detract from his overall quality. Excellent rear construction. Powered round the ring well deserved CC and BOB

2 Ackling & New’s - Ruby Rueben ShCM. An honest norfolk of good type. Good in head, would prefer a smaller eye. short cobby body. Excellent tail, have judged this boy previously, he is as smart as a pin shown is lovely coat and condition.

Minor Puppy – Bitch (3,0)

A difficult class to assess as only 1st moved round.

1 Gee’s - Watercroft Saffron I liked this young lady. She has good head proportion for age, neat ears and dark eyes. Correct width of skull, strong muzzle and keen expression. Well laid shoulders, could be a shade shorter but this may well improve. Excels in bone with very good feet. Coat was very blown. Showed and moved well.

2 Bowes -Bowanne Miss Money Penny very immature baby, looked quite over awed by her surroundings. Difficult to assess on the move as she was so hesitant. Overall pleasing make and shape could have more bone and a little high on the leg at present. Sure time will see her improve.

3 Corfield & Lagden’s - Fare Ruby Tuesday

Puppy – Bitch (3,0)

1 Phillips - Blakens Tootie Frutie Very stylish youngster. In excellent coat and condition. Good width of skull and strength of muzzle but could have more fill under her eyes. A little short in neck which gives the appearance of being long in back. Level topline held on the move. Moved with drive. She put up a good performance to win this class.

2 Gee’s - Watercroft Pop Picker Another bitch with a lovely head and expression. The best of ears and dark eyes. Excellent front construction but could have better drive from behind. Short in back and cobby body. Lovely bone and feet. Tail a little low set. Close decision between 1 & 2.

3 Philp’s - Nordalset Chase The Storm

Junior – Bitch (5,1)

1 Davies & Dixon - Perrisblu Pricilla Very smart young bitch. Strode round the ring as if she owned it. Good head and ears. Good coat texture. A shade long in the back at the moment. Handled really well.

2 Stevenson’s - Brickin Simplicity Typey B&T, lovely head and expression. Neat ears. Strong neck, short back, Harsh coat. Not helping her handler leaning on the lead.

3 Devereux’s - Vichea Heavens Above

Post Graduate – Bitch (7,1)

1 Devereux’s - Vichea Cash & Carry I really liked this bitch, she is just my type short cobby and low to ground. Another with a thick short tail which she carried perfectly. Very attractive head. A good mover when she concentrates!

2 Philip’s - Nodalset Sunny Skies Another of super type. Pleasing head and expression. A little short in neck. Level topline which she held on the move.

3 Saltmarsh’s - Pipridges Holly

Limit – Bitch (6,1)

1 Britten’s - Krisma Nip In The Air. A cracking little norfolk bitch. Neat as a pin. Well balanced throughout. She is not over done in anyway. Loved her head and expression small dark eye. Neat ears which she used well. Correct size. Excellent conformation. Short back, well set tail. Not an extravagant mover but never put a foot wrong. Out showed the competition to win BCC.

2 Devereux’s - Vichea Little Gem. Another of excellent type, very busy young lady who can be a bit of a handful at times! Liked her head shape and expression good length of neck ultra short in back fabulous tail short, thick and carried erect. Showed well when she settled.

3 Darnell’s - Jacquidon Next Sensation

Open – Bitch (3,1)

1 Tate & Gullick’s - Jaeva Hells Fire Have admired this young lady before but today she seemed quite distracted. A lovely example of the breed, with bags of quality. Lovely head and expression. Correct length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Short back, cobby body tail bang on. Moving a little close behind today but well deserved RCC.

2 Gee’s Ch Watercroft Top Tia A top quality champion bitch. One I judged as a puppy. Has a really lovely head with neat ears and dark beady eyes. Ultra short and cobby with excellent bone and feet. The best of tails being well set, thick and short. Showed well, moved ok.

3 Thompson-Morgan’s -Allright Black Bess (Imp)
