NORFOLK LKA 11 Judge: Mrs P Green NORFOLK JUDGE LKA 11 Norfolk Terriers MPD (5) 1 Jenkins’ Brenin Bazaar at Kinsridge, 6½ months, very much a baby but very well constructed. Small neat ears, good dark eye, straight front, well angulated, moved well; 2 Newton’s Strathinver Smart Enough, well developed puppy, masculine head, good mouth & nice eye, good quality coat which was just going, moved well when settled; 3 Gee’s Watercroft Royal Applause. PD (6) 1 Phillips, Gullick & Wilding’s Jaeva Made In Gold, lovely puppy, well up to size, strong head, good mouth, nice level topline on the move, very well presented, in good coat, showing well. BP; 2 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Burning Passion, lovely puppy, pushing 1 hard. Nice size, good reach of neck, well let down behind, moving with drive, good coat, well presented; 3 Hurrion’s Villassa Done Deal. JD (3) 1 Atkinson’s Moortop No Choice, beautifully presented, short cobby dog, fits the Standard very well. Good scissor bite, dark eye with true terrier expression, well placed ears, ribs well sprung, moving well both ways with tail on top. RCC; 2 Stevenson’s Brickin Look Away Now, slightly larger than 1. Very good head, keen expression, good scissor bite. Was not cooperating with his handler which spoilt his front movement; 3 S Smart Enough. PGD (4) 1 Dorkins’ Lowmita Cinnamon, dark red of lovely type, attractive head & expression, strong muzzle, small well placed ears, nicely boned, moved & showed well; 2 Ackling’s Ruby Rueben, small compact dog, good eye & mouth. Not so strong in head. Well balanced, moving & showing well; 3 Simpson’s Umbrage Longton cum Megalex. LD (4) 1 Mounfield’s Arderry Sky Rocket, well balanced dog, good bone, strong head, well placed ears, pleasing eye & good mouth, very well presented, harsh red coat, moved well, keeping level topline; 2 Devereux’s Vichea Pick Pocket, well presented b/t, good mouth, moderate length of neck, straight front. Rear movement not as good as 1 but neat cobby dog. OD (4) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Blacklace, I judged him as a puppy & loved him then & it was a pleasure to judge him again as a mature 3 year old. Has all the attributes to fit the Standard. Keen expression, good mouth, very good front, well placed shoulders, good spring of rib, never stopped showing, moving round the ring with such drive. CC & BOB; 2 Smith’s Javidel Come What May, good head & expression, good neck & shoulders, in good coat. Slightly heavier & longer cast but moved & showed well. VD & GCD (0). MPB (7) 1 Devereux’s Vichea Easter Lily, very pretty, feminine bitch, well balanced, good eye & expression, good coat, well presented, showed herself off very well; 2 Atkinson’s Moortop Bright Girl, cobby little girl, dark eye & true varmint expression, really beautiful red coat, well presented. Her head needs to mature to finish the picture. Showed with animation; 3 Gee’s Watercroft Wedding Belle. PB (5) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Silk Slippers, really liked this red bitch, good straight front, short cobby body, good angulation, in excellent coat, very animated on the move; 2 Bettesworth’s Kapitada Sweetness ‘N Light, her name suits her. Feminine head, good body, moved & showed well holding level topline; 3 Harpham & Hulance’s Diggery What A Treasure. JB (5) 1 Newton’s Strathinver Reddy To Star, feminine head, correct dark eye, well placed shoulders & well let down behind, moved well holding level topline. Coat just going but really took my eye in the final line up; 2 Hurrion’s Villassa All Gold, very close decision but she was not cooperating with her handler. Nevertheless a very feminine bitch, good reach of neck, short & compact, good bone & muscle, in good well presented coat. PGB (2) 1 Dorkins’ Lowmita Saffron, pleasing bitch, good dark eye giving true terrier expression, lovely rich red coat, short back, moved better in front than behind; 2 Hess & Higgins’ Umbrage Sparch Grove, longer cast, good head & correct mouth, really good harsh coat, went well. LB (5) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Party Time, lovely dark red, attractive head, short strong muzzle & good mouth, neat ears, nice size, short with well sprung ribs, good angulation, moved so well & never stopped showing. CC; 2 McCullough’s Kinsridge Party Piece at Kimmax, b/t, pleasing expression. Rangier type. Moved well; 3 Arrand’s Robona Jakona Twinkle. OB (4) 1 Phillips’ Ch Blakens Dolly Mixture, lovely short coupled b/t, good strong muzzle, well muscled & compact, very good coat, well presented. RCC; 2 Phillips’ Ch Jaeva Comfort And Joy, good head & expression, neat ears & scissor bite. Slightly larger type & a bit more up on the leg but well put together. In very good coat, held topline on the move; 3 Cooper’s Ch Settrenda Saucy Sox. VB (1) A. GCB (0). PATSY GREEN |
