NORFOLK LKA 09 Judge: Mr B Claydon NORFOLK JUDGE LKA 09 Norfolk Terriers MPD (5) 1 Stevenson’s Penmire Wild Bramble by Brickin, attractive young red, well balanced head & dark eyes, nice size for his age, in good coat, the best schooled in the class, moving with confidence & showing well; 2 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Gun, another nice red, lovely head & eye, well boned, bodied up well. Not as ready as 1; 3 Hess & Higgins’ Umbrage Ironstone. PD (2) 1 Gullick & Oliver’s Jaeva The Butler, red, in good order, pleasing head & eye, good ears, level topline, short coupled, well set on tail, nice type who showed well for his handler; 2 Hamar’s Lagdenfarm Bit Of A Lad, b/t in good coat, dark eyes, nice size, short coupled, well bent stifles, moved & showed well. JD (4) 1 Thompson Morgan’s Belleville Black Lace, quality b/t, super head, eye & expression, in good coat & well presented, good length of neck, level topline, nicely bodied, well let down hocks, showed attentively, moved with purpose; 2 Thompson Morgan’s Belleville Angello, red, pleasing head & eye, nice size, in fair coat, good mover who showed well; 3 Smith’s Javidel Come What May. PGD (3,1) 1 Phillips & Sargeant’s Jaeva Pocket Rocket, quality b/t of good type, well balanced head, strong jaw, well boned, nice size, in good coat & put down really well, looked a picture in profile, moved & showed well to take RCC; 2 Rayner’s Mstease Making Mayhem, b/t in harsh coat, nice size, nice type, moved OK but was a little distracted. LD (2,1) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Told You So, red, pleasing head but excels in eye, in good hard coat, level topline, well bodied, nicely developed ribs, showed well. OD (5,1) 1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Dollar, top quality red who is a class act, in good coat & well presented, well balanced, super head, good neck & shoulders, firm level topline, well bent stifles, good mover who covers the ground with ease & shows well. CC; 2 Green’s Wharfvalley Kir Royal, another quality red who has matured well, lovely type, good head & eye, correct coat texture & well presented. Just wish he was more enthusiastic about showing; 3 Devereux’s Vichea Clever Clogs. MPB (9,1) 1 Thompson Morgan’s Belleville Red Dawn, smart red youngster of lovely type, well balanced head, lovely eye, well set ears, level topline, well let down hocks, in good coat, moving & showing with enthusiasm. BP; 2 Mitchell’s Richell Show Off, another promising youngster with a great attitude, well schooled, put down well, good topline, nice size for her age, moved with confidence & style, showed really well; 3 Ruffle’s Ruffnor Of The Peg. PB (9,2) 1 Cooper’s Settrenda Saucy Sox, nice moving red, pleasing head, in good coat, good topline, well boned, well let down hocks, nice type who showed well; 2 Phillips & Tate’s Jaeva Hells Fury, nice type b/t in good harsh coat, well boned for size, nicely bodied, showed with confidence, moved well; 3 Devereux’s Vichea Dot And Carry. JB (10,2) Nice class of young bitches, I am sure many of the placings will change in the future. 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Neat And Tidy, red, lovely head & keen eye giving her a varminty expression, small well set ears, lovely size for a bitch, good double coat, well set on tail of lovely length, moved & showed well, shall watch her future progress with interest; 2 Harpham & Hulance’s Diggery Sail The Wave, another lovely red bitch, pleasing head & eye, short coupled, in good coat & beautifully presented, nice type, moved & showed well; 3 Newton’s Strathinver Red Red Rose. PGB (5,1) 1 Matell’s Cracknor Custom Made, lovely type dark red, in good harsh coat as one would expect from this kennel, well balanced head, strong jaw, dark eyes, good bone firm, level topline, short coupled, good tail, well let down hocks, moved with drive, showed well. RCC; 2 Green’s Wharfvallet Amber Nectar, another nice bitch with lots of attributes, good head, eye & ears, in good coat & well presented, nice mover, enjoys her showing; 3 Phillips’ Belleville Luck Be Lady at Nordalset. LB (5,1) 1 Thompson Morgan’s Belleville Intuition, top quality red, lovely head, good ears & keen eye, good neck & shoulders fitting well into firm level topline, well boned for her size, nicely bodied & short coupled, well let down hocks, excelled on the move, her showmanship is very good. CC, BOB & G4; 2 Stevenson’s Brickin Skip Away, another good exhibit from this kennel, red, pleasing head, eye & ears, short coupled, well bodied, well muscled hindquarters, moved with purpose & showed non stop; 3 Hurrion’s Valentines Cherry Crumble. OB (6,2) 1 Thompson Morgan’s Ch Belleville Silk Petticoat, another quality bitch from this kennel who consistently produces to a very high standard, lovely head & expression, short coupled, well bodied, in good coat & well presented; 2 Ruffles’ Ruffnor Secret Wish, dark red, very short of coat but what she had was of the correct texture & her overall type was excellent. Pleasing head, keen dark eyes, nice size for a bitch, well boned, nice mover, showed well for her handler; 3 Hess & Higgins’ Kapitada Fireopal at Humbrage. BRYAN CLAYDON
