I enjoyed my day with this breed, with a good entry and quality dogs. I found a few mouth faults; enough to affect placings. My thanks to the sporting exhibitors for bringing their dogs, and to my able stewards on the day. It was lovely to see so many promising puppies, which bodes well for the future. My BOB was shortlisted in the Group; BP and BV group placed. Well done.

PD (8)

1 Jenkins' Kinsridge Witty Banter. Showy, quality puppy with a pleasing head and eye. Good outline, bone, body properties, and quarters. Puppy coat a touch soft at present. Sound on the move. BP.

2 Thompson-Morgan's Belleville Salut. Another good one, not as forward as first yet, but in better coat. Pleasing eye and expression, good in body, moved well on go around and looks good in profile. Has time to finish.

3 Stevenson's Brickin Heart Throb. Completed a trio of typical quality puppies.

JD (2)

A difficult class.

1 Hurrion's Villassa Jack Daniels. Rather immature at present. Pleasing head and crisp jacket. Needs more body to finish the picture. Sound on the move.

2 Jellings & Bakewell's Jaeva Look 'N Look Again At Norwelstonlynjel. Strong head, body compact and cobby. Moved out well in good coat and order.

PGD (2)

1 Philip's Nordalset Made To Boogie. Typical, well made dog with a good head and eye. Pleasing forehand, strongly made and plenty of substance. Cobby, ribbed up, level topline.

2 Brown's Dajean Dotty's Digger. Not the strength or substance of first. Ok in head, pleasing expression. Good coat texture.

LD (4)

1 Horne's Marchdens Mark My Words. Typical dog. Pleasing skull and ear. Lovely bone and substance, cobby, good body properties, and good in profile. Shown in a quality jacket. Showed and moved well. Would like a darker eye.

2 Stevenson's Brickin Pot Of Pickle. Typical dog, close up to first, but not making the most of himself today. Lovely head and eye, excellent expression better than first. Plenty of bone and substance. Good front. Sound on the move. Not quite in the coat condition of first.

3 Atkinson's Charlie Blake At Moor Top.

OD (4)

1 Gullick & Van Stuinvenberg's Arderry Penny Red To Jaeva. Showy dog, typical in outlook and outline. Good bone, pleasing forehand, good ribbing and substance. Short back, compact and good size. Moved and showed well, with a low driving gait. In good coat and order. CC & BOB.

2 Gee's Ch Watercroft Chilli Pepper. Close up to first. Has a lovely broad skull, and well set ear. Good substance and bone, lovely forehand in excellent coat and order. Moved and showed well. Preferred the length of back of first, and size. Res CC.

3 Thompson-Morgan's Belleville Spell It Out.

VD (1)
