NORFOLK DARLINGTON 18 Judge: Mr D Shields BEST OF BREED : 1162 GEE Mrs R Watercroft Calling Time NORFOLK JUDGE DARLINGTON 18 VD (1) 1 Green's Ch Wharfvalley Diamond Star. So well made throughout. Good size and presents a very typical outlook both stood and on the move. Best of heads, neat well set ears, good dark eye and the keenest of expressions. Firm level topline, well rounded hindquarters and the soundest of movers. BV. 1 Phillips' Tell A Tale To Jaeva. Was very impressed with this youngster. Good shape and nicely balanced throughout. Pleasing head, eye and expression. Excellent front assembly with a good layback of shoulder. Well sprung ribs for his age along with well developed quarters. Very sound on the move with good reach and drive, BP and pleased to see him take G3 in the Puppy Group. 2 Gee's Watercroft Duty Calls. Another good one. Very much a baby but sure he will have a bright future. Compact appearance with good bone and substance for his age. Typical in head with a lovely dark eye and alert expression. Straight front, good legs and feet, short backed and a good turn of stifle. Moved well once he got into his stride. 1 Atkinson's Moortop My Mark Again. Very typical in appearance, small, low and compact with the bone and substance to complete the picture. Good headpiece, well placed ears and the best of expressions. Another who scored in neck and shoulders. Excellent body, firm level topline that he holds on the move. Good coat and a positive and sound mover. 2 Thompson-Morgan's Belleville Crumble Topping. Good size, short backed and presents a balanced outlook. Pleasing head with a good dark eye and keen expression. Stands on good legs and feet, well sprung ribs and good tailset and carriage. Put down on the day in the best of jackets. Moved well. 1 Stevenson's Brickin Just A Pickle. Another good one who is very typical throughout. Good size with excellent bone and substance. Best of heads, good strength of muzzle and a pleasing eye and expression. Well made front assembly with a strong neck set in well placed shoulders. Short compact body and well developed hindquarters. Sound on the move. 2 Newton's Strathinver Star Of Fortune. Pleasing make and shape and of good type. Best of heads, neat well placed ears, dark eye and good expression. Well made body, lovely spring of rib, level topline and a pleasing bend of stifle. Moved well but not as positive on the move as the winner on the day. 1 Walshe's Beritas The Name's Bond. Good size and of overall pleasing confirmation and presents a very typical appearance. Balanced head, good shape and a pleasing eye and expression. Strong neck, good legs and feet, short backed and well made quarters. Sound on the move. 2 Strathinver Star Of Fortune. 1 Gee's Watercroft Calling Time. Impressed as soon as he entered the ring. A dog with character and attitude. Fits the standard well, small and compact, a lot of dog in a small compass. Excellent bone and substance throughout. Best of heads with a keen eye and expression, scores in front assembly, short backed and well muscled hindquarters. Presented in the best of coats which just enhanced the picture. Positive sound mover, CC & BOB. 2 Smith's Javidel Despicable Me. Another of good size and is very well made throughout. Pleasing head piece, good strength of muzzle, neat ears and a good dark eye and keen expression. Well sprung ribs, short backed, level topline and a pleasing tailset and carriage. Strong quarters with a good bend of stifle. Moved soundly. 1 Van-Stuivenberg's NL Ch Jaeva Bit O'Bover. Another with a very typical appearance and takes your attention both stood and on the move. Excellent head with a lovely dark oval eye and the best of expressions. Scores in neck and shoulders. Straight front standing on good legs and feet. Short compact body, firm hindquarters and well let down hocks. Harsh coat and the soundest of movers, Res CC. 2 Jenkins' Ch Kingsridge Witty Banter. Good size with the required bone and substance throughout and presents a very pleasing outlook. Balanced head, well placed ears and a good dark eye. Strong neck, well sprung ribs, firm level topline that he holds on the move and well rounded quarters. Another who was put down on the day in the best of coats. Moved well with reach and drive. 1 Hurrion's Villassa All About Me. Compact young lady of good size. Best of heads with a very typical appearance, neat ears and a good eye and expression. Well made front assembly standing on good legs and feet, well sprung ribs for her age and a good bend of stifle. Once she settled moved soundly both fore and aft. 2 Punter's Watercroft Q Card. Pleasing type and of overall good make and shape and with good strength and substance for her age. Good head with a lovely dark eye and the keenest of expressions. Firm level topline which she holds on the move. Coat needs some attention to complete the picture. PB (1) 1 Stevenson's Brickin Devine Tilly. Another very promising puppy. Small, compact and short backed as the standard asks for. Typical in head, good strength of muzzle, well placed ears and the best of expressions. Scores in neck and shoulders, good depth and well rounded hindquarters. Put down in good order on the day. Sound on the move. 1 Darnell's Jacquidon Rags To Riches. Stood alone in the class but a worthy winner on the day. Beautifully balanced bitch of good size. Very pleasing head, lovely 'oval' eye with the keenest of expressions. Another who pleased in neck and shoulders. Well developed body, good spring of rib and well angulated quarters. A very sound and positive mover. 1 Hurrion's Villassa Cherry Stars. Very typical throughout and of excellent make and shape. Pleasing head, well balanced, good dark eye and an alert and keen expression as the standard asks for. Pleasing front, well developed body and a good firm topline. Nicely rounded hindquarters with a good turn of stifle. Moved soundly. 2 Darnell's Jacquidon Nip And Tuck. Pleasing sort who presented a clean and balanced appearance. Small and compact. Typical expression with a good eye shape, clean neckline and a pleasing spring of rib. Firm well angulated quarters with well let down hocks. Precise sound movement both fore and aft. 3 Walshe's Beritas Bedevilled. LB (6) Very competitive class. 1 Phillip's Blakens Look No Further. Top class bitch who was close up for top honours on the day. Very well made throughout with a very typical appearance and excellent bone and substance to complete the picture. Best of heads with a good dark eye and keen expression. Well made front assembly, good spring of rib and well muscled hindquarters. Soundest of movers. 2 Jenkin's Kingsridge Tip The Wink. Good size of bitch, small and compact with good strength. Pleasing head shape with good strong muzzle and a dark eye. Straight front standing on good legs and feet. Firm level topline that she holds on the move, pleasing tailset and carriage and well made quarters. Put down in good order. Moved well. 3 Thompson-Morgan's Vilassa Jelligello. Three cracking bitches and a close decision on the day between all three. 1 Gee's Ch Watercroft Gold Dust. Lovely bitch from all angles with great character and spirit. Small and low, as the standard asks for, short backed and with excellent strength throughout. Best of heads with a very typical outlook. Scored in front assembly with a good strong neck set in well placed shoulders. Firm body and well rounded hindquarters. Best of jackets, hard and wirey. Moved soundly on a positive stride. 2 Thompson-Morgan's Belleville Ovation. Another very well made bitch who fits the standard well. Good size and so well balanced throughout. Pleasing head shape with good strength of muzzle a keen expression and neat ears. Compact body, well sprung ribs and a well set tail. Strong quarters that she uses to advantage on the move. In good coat and presented to perfection. Moved well, Res CC. 3 Phillip's Ch Marchdens Look To The Sky For Blakens.
