NORFOLK JUDGE DARLINGTON 17

As always David, Stuart and their team have the finger on the button and afford great hospitality.

VD (1)

1 Simpson Umbrage Longton Cum Megalex. 8 year old, smart lively chap, really enjoying his day. He was in good order, not too heavy and he used himself well on the move. Never lost his outline firm topline. Hard coat, well presented. Just a touch up on leg.

MPD (3,1)

1 Gee Watercroft Calling Time. From 8 years to 8 months. This is a cracking Norfolk. Lovely head, dark oval eye fitting well. Good skull, strength in muzzle with big white teeth. Has neck from lay of shoulder, compact body and strong set tail on top. Hard coat well put down. He just had so much attitude and spark and showed his head off with true action, in this ring and later in the group to take, BP & PG 1.

2 Atkinson Belleville Just Call Me At Manybrook. Not quite as forward as winner and just lacks a touch face furnishings. But a good sort and should develop well, as is so well constructed. Super coat texture. His day will come.

PD (1)

1 Nunez Cherokee At Treehouse.11 month and is masculine with nothing overdone. Super head piece, with good eye and well set ear. Has strength in neck and firm body. This boy has lots to offer and well deserved his place . Thought well of him.

JD (3)

1 Hurrion & Standen Villassa Jack Be Quick. Well I just fell for him, gorgeous head, all in proportion, he made me smile. His skeletal make up is so correct, that he doesn't put a foot wrong, standing or moving. Excellent presentation of super hard wiry coat. I wouldn't change a thing. D CC & BOB.

2 Walshe Beritas The Name's Bond. Shows himself off to advantage. Dark well set eye with that cheeky spark. Confident use of ear. Well ribbed to short muscled loin. Behind plenty after tail. Not just as tidy coming and going as winner, but stylish side action.

3 Stevenson Brickin Heart Throb.

PGD (1)

1 Hurrion Villassa Jack Daniels .17 month pleasing type. Pretty head with good proportions. Decent shoulder and good bone with straight front and neat feet. Needs to come on behind, but at that in-between stage. Harsh coat with good undercoat. Lovely outlook.

LD (2)

1 Jellings & Bakewell Jaeva Look 'n' Look Again At Norwelston Lynjel. Won on his typical shape and super attitude. Appeals in head that real Norfolk look, from his has a dark almond eye. He is compact with strong body, firm back and good width of rump. Did his job with terrier spirit.

2 Stevenson Brickin Pot Of Pickle. This one has a super head with strong jaw. Strong body, which is deep giving the impression of him being a litte short on leg. He has strong well angulated quarters. Just not giving as much as winner on the move.

OD (2 )

Both have attributes.

1 Gullick & Van Stuivenberg Ch Arderry Penny Red To Jaeva. Classic head he has, broad, balanced skull, good eye, dark with that added spark. Strength on muzzle, housing big white teeth. Positive in front from correct angulation. Quality bone. Firm back, well sprung ribs and short muscled loin. Strong behind with bend of stifle giving propulsion. Excellent presentation. Res CC.

2 Newton Ch Strathinver Sea The Stars.

VB (2)

1 Green Wharfvalley Diamond Diva. 8 years and did her job with true action and great personality. She may lack a touch face furnishings, but her head is typical and balanced with a lovely expresstion.Well boned and good legs and feet. She pushes off from sound quarters. Her coat is hard and abundant. BV. And I judged her again in the veteran group and she was up there in the quality shortlist.

2 Hurrion Ch Valentines Cherry Crumble. Lovely girl, again really doing her job with purpose. I just preferred the muzzle and neck of winner. She does have qualities.

MPB (1)

1 Gee Watercroft Gold Dust. 7 months and, rightly, looks and acts her age, so had to give way to her stable mate, for best puppy. She is captivating, with her beautiful head and cheeky outlook. She displays her correct construction, for a moment, (but preferred to wiggle, which is fine in a baby) on the move.

PB (2)

1 Jellings, Bakewell & Tate Jaeva Blossom TAF . 9 month. A bit of a jumping bean today, I don't mind, youngsters should have fun, love that great personality. She is still immature and need to come on in head. She has correct body proportions and leg to depth. Think this is one for the future.

JB (3,1)

Both had issues on the move.

1 Smith Javidel Darling Buds Of May. Lovely head and expression on this one. Lovely front and shoulder, so positive reach on the move. This is where she scored today over second. She is carrying rather too much weight, but is soundly made . Quality coat.

2 Gee Watercroft Suzie'q . Cheeky and shapely in outline with good head and compact body. She is a sweet bitch with quality and type, who has time .Not quite as positive in front as winner.

PGB (2,1)

1 Walshe Beritas Bedevilled Only a youngster, who has lots to like about her. She is confident and alert, working with her handler all the time. Lovely expression from a balanced head and dark well placed eye. Can be a touch 'bossy' in front, moved very well behind. Not in her best coat.

LB (3,2)

1 Gullick & Tate Jaeva Keen As Mustard .This quality yearling was in immaculate order. Broad skull, super ear set, and used to advantage. Good muzzle and width of underjaw. So very well constructed, with correct proportions that she can't put her foot down wrong. Is typy, balanced and feminine. Quietly handled to bring out her best. I was pleased to award her the Res CC. Higher awards must follow.

OB (3,1)

These two handlers, showed dogs of super type and presentation today.

1 Gee Watercroft Pick Of The Pops. Scored in outline, so very typical. Has a balanced head that is feminine with no weak elements. Balance of forehand to hind, with developed middle. Topline is firm with short loin of width. Has good bum and muscular buttocks. In super coat presented so well. She has that confident 'look at me' air, which secured her the CC.

2 Hurrion Villassa Cherry Tart. Pretty, feminine girl with lovely eye and ear that frame her well balanced head piece. Grand forehand, with balance of well boned leg to depth. Firm throughout. Strong and fit throughout. Quality presentation of lovely hard coat.
