NORFOLK DARLINGTON 12 Judge: Mrs S McCourt BEST OF BREED : 1236 PHILLIPS, Mrs B & GULLICK, Mr A & WILDING Mrs S Ch Jaeva Made In Gold NORFOLK JUDGE DARLINGTON 12 Norfolk Terriers I was very pleased both with my entry & the standard of exhibits. Mouths are so much better than when I judged before. I was very pleased to see that my BP went on to win RBPIS. VD (0). MPD (1) 1 Gray’s Cocos Brown Bear, a first outing for this pup & behaving very well. Good hard coat, nice eye, head & shoulders, moved well. PD (2) 1 Phillips’ Blakens Xpress Yourself, great youngster with lots of style, very well put together with a good head & expression, short coupled with good topline, very good tailset & really sound, should have a great future; 2 Stevenson’s Brickin Fine And Dandy, very promising puppy, good bone, correct front, neat ears, should do well. JD (3) 1 Phillips, Gullick, Tate & Oliver’s Jaeva Peeping Tom, good headed youngster, lovely eye & expression, nice neck & shoulders, very short back, good tailset, moved out well, well presented; 2 Newton’s Strathinver Smart Enough, well named dog who shows well, a nice shape all over, lovely head, moved out well; 3 Rayner & Healey’s Settrenda Sirens Sounding. PGD (1) 1 Simpson’s Umbrage Longton Cum Megalex, smart dog with a classic head, good eye & earset, nice shoulders & topline, good tailset, moved well. LD (2) 1 Smith’s Javidel May Just Have Too, a close decision here between 1 & 2, both had real Norfolk expressions. Good eyes, neck short backed with well muscled hindquarters; 2 Newton’s Penmire Makori at Strathinver, very nice sort of dog in good coat & condition. Just preferred ears of 1. OD (3) 1 Phillips, Gullick & Wilding’s Ch Jaeva Made In Gold, a very worthy ch in first-class presentation & harsh coat, classic head & expression with lovely big teeth, neat ears, good neck & shoulders, firm topline & well muscled hindquarters, moves well both ways. CC, BOB; 2 Atkinson’s Moortop No Choice, very nice type who shows well, good head, eye, ear, neck & shoulders, short coupled, good reach when moving. RCC. VB (0). MPB (2) 1 Claydon’s Brymarden Angelica, very much a baby but showing lots of promise, good head coming lovely front cobby body & good tailset. Moved well, if a little playful that is nice to see in a puppy; 2 Ellis’ Brymarden Angelique, litter sister to 1, well bodied with nice head, good dark eye, certainly enjoyed her day. PB (8) 1 Bettesworth’s Kapitada Whoops A Daisy, good head, eye & ears, nice neck & shoulders, in lovely coat & condition, moved well; 2 Stevenson’s Brickin Follower Of Fashion, just in between coats but very nice type, moved out really well; 3 Simpson’s Tegwani Dream On at Megalex. JB (3) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Honey Nut Crunch, very mature bitch, so well presented as always from this kennel. in really good coat, very good head, eye & teeth, showed well. RCC. PGB (2) & LB (2) A. OB (3) 1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Score, very correct type of bitch, so sound with a lovely free movement, good head with neat ears, feminine expression, well laid back shoulders & good short coupled body, tailset bang on top. CC, in good condition; 2 Stevenson’s Brickin Hop And Skip, out of the top drawer, nice type & showed really well, good coat & condition. S McCOURT |
