MPD (5) 1 Smith’s Javidel May Just Have Too, well proportioned head, dark eye, well placed ears, scissor bite, good neck & shoulders, compact body, correct tailset, nice bend of stifle, moved & showed well, looked well in profile. CC & BP; 2 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Burning Passion, pleasing head & expression, well placed ears, nice reach of neck, shoulders well laid, good topline & tailset; 3 Hurrion’s Villassa Done Deal. PD (2) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Look Away Now, sound moving dog, masculine head, good spring of rib, well coupled, level topline, nice bend of stifle, strong quarters. RCC; 2 Atkinson’s Moortop No Choice, typical head & expression, dark eye, well placed ears, ribs well sprung, compact body, well let down behind, close wiry coat. JD (1) 1 Newton’s Penmire Makori at Strathinver, nice type, well balanced head, straight front, good layback of shoulder, nice depth of brisket, level topline, correct tailset, moved OK when settled. PGD (1) A. LD (5) 1 Devereux’s Vichea Pick Pocket, grizzle/t, nice size, good head, dark eye, straight front, shoulders well laid, well ribbed back, compact body, good overall balance, moved well both ways; 2 Gee’s Watercroft Hot News, b/t, masculine head, dark eye, ears well placed, level topline, short coupled, strong quarters, ample bone, moved & showed well; 3 Stevenson’s Brickin Wayward Affair. OD (1) A. VB (0). MPB (2) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Silk Slippers, just 6 months, pleasing head & expression, straight front, good topline, plenty of body for age, just requires more confidence. PB (2) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Hop And Skip, good head, dark eye, scissor bite, good spring of rib, topline & tailset, well let down behind, nice shape, moved & showed well; 2 Broom & Davies’ Roxway Final Chapter, nice head with good stop but requires more furnishings. Shoulders well laid, compact body, wiry coat. Just preferred the movement of 1. JB (4) 1 Hurrion’s Villassa All Gold, good head, alert expression, nice outline, good front, neck & shoulders, topline & tailset, nice body with good spring of rib, moved & showed well; 2 Newton’s Strathinver Reddy To Star, feminine head, good topline, tailset, compact body, well let down behind, looked well in profile, moved OK; 3 Phillips, Gullick & Tate’s Jaeva She’s No Angel. PGB (1) A. LB (4) 1 Devereux’s Vichea Dot And Carry, appealing head, dark eye, well placed ears, ribs well sprung, good neck & shoulders, strong quarters, moved with purpose & soundly; 2 Broom’s Roxway Fancy Free, typical head & expression, good depth of brisket, level topline, correct tailset, moved & showed well; 3 Phillips’ Blakens Dolly Mixture. OB (3) 1 Phillips & Tate’s Jaeva Goldilocks, excellent type, good overall balance, nice head, dark eye, well defined stop, shoulders well laid, compact body, moved free & easy. CC & BOB; 2 Claydon’s Brymarden Copper Kettle, good head, neck & shoulders, straight front, nice depth of brisket, good spring of rib, topline & tailset, nice bend of stifle. RCC. JACK WATSON |
