NORFOLK CRUFTS 15 Judge(s): MRS R SPORRE-WILLES [SWEDEN] NORFOLK JUDGE CRUFTS 15 Norfolk Terriers Thank you for a lovely entry with many of excellent type & correct movement. On the positive side was also many with correct proportions & body. Shape of head was good on the whole as well as ear carriage, although still some with round eyes. I very much enjoyed judging your dogs. VD (2) 1 Rusby’s Harrys A Hero, b/t with lovely head & very good ears. Well kept & with good body. Moves really well behind; 2 Riley’s Lastarean Check Mate at Millstrand, another with good head & body. Very nice tail & good coat, not the good free stride of 1. PD (3) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Scintillation, lovely puppy with very nice head, excellent bone & very good coat. Sound in built & with very good movement. BP; 2 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Back Chat, another stylish puppy. Good head & very good tail. OK coat, not the free movement of 1; 3 Atkinson’s Moortop Marks Delivery, attractive & shown in excellent coat but not with the quality head of 1 & 2. Would like movement with a bit more drive. JD (2) 1 Phillip’s Blakens Pay Back, very nice type, lovely head, shown in really good condition. Strong body & good bone. Moved really well; 2 Devereux’Vichea Storm Trooper, nice type & head, good body & coat. Not the free movement of 1. PGD (9) 1 Atkinson’s Blakens I Look To You, really nice type in excellent coat & condition. Good head & ears, good tail & moved well; 2 Gee’s Watercroft Hot News, short coupled, nice head, good tail & shown in good coat, preferred movement of 1; 3 Broom & Davies’ Roxway Quite Enough, good head, but preferred eyes & ears of 1 & 2, good body & nice tail, excellent coat. Good side movement. Res Riley’s Millstrand Cut The Mustard. LD (8) 1 Jenkins’ Krisma Flashback to Kinsridge, lovely type & really nice head. Good body & excellent coat. Moved well; 2 Gee’s Watercroft In A Pickle, another really nice type with good body & coat, but preferred head of 1; 3 Ackling’s Ruby Rueben, very good proportions & tail, nice head. Preferred the free movement of 1 & 2. Res Holmes-Chatfield’s Nordalset Guns And Roses. OD (6) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Seduction, eyecatching b/t dog that combines excellent type, style & soundness. Very nice head, strong muzzle, shown in excellent coat & moves with self-dependent attitude & an effortless drive. CC, BOB; 2 Phillips’ Ch Blakens The Kandy Man Kan, another of lovely type, strong body, very nice head. Shown in good coat & with true movement. RCC; 3 Jenkins’ Ch Kinsridge Cash Back, nice size & body. Good head but preferred eyes of 1 & 2. Good coat, good movement when he put all in. Res Newton’s Strathinver Smart Enough. GCD (1) 1 Brown’s Dajean Dotty's Digger, different in type to dogs in previous classes. Rather high on legs which was more evident on the day as he was not in good coat. Moved OK. VB (4) 1 Hurrion’s Ch Valentines Cherry Crumble, very nice with good head, excellent condition for age, good body & tail. Moves well; 2 Atkinson’s Ch Hobsons Choice at Moortop, nice head, good body, very good coat & moves OK; 3 Smallridge & Brazier’s Ir Ch Cracknor Cutting Edge, nice head, good body & in good condition, moves OK. Res Owens’ Penmire Lilac. PB (2) 1 Darnell’s Jacquidon Next Sensation, b/t of lovely type & shown in excellent coat condition. Very nice expression, good body & moved well for age; 2 Walshe’s Monalou Bagel at Beritas, good size but lacks strength in bone & muzzle. Good coat, would like her movement with better drive. JB (7) 1 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tipple, lovely animated temperament, nice head. Compact body, good tail & moved well; 2 Philip’s Nordalset Sunny Skies, nice head, ears & eyes, compact body & nice tail, excellent coat, moved well; 3 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Magic Spell, nice proportions but head is not ready yet, good coat & tail, nice side movement. Res Saltmarsh’s Pipridges Holly. PGB (6) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Summer Crunch, nice proportions but could be stronger in head, good coat, excels with free, sound movement; 2 Hurrion’s Villassa All My Heart, nice head but too thin in condition today & it became rather obvious as she was not in full coat, moved well; 3 Saltmarsh’s Pipridges Hazel, a bit longer in body than previous, excellent tail. Very nice head, did not put much effort into movement on the day. Res McPhee’s Foxhouse Flash The Cash. LB (9) 1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Tip, a real eyecatcher with super head in every detail. Really nice, short body, good neck & moves really well. Shown in excellent coat & condition. CC; 2 Hurrion’s Villassa Star Turn, a little longer than 1, also with nice head, shown in good coat & moved well; 3 Gee’s Watercroft Dream Topping, another of very nice type with good head. Very good coat, not the free movement of 1 & 2. Res Philip’s Nordalset Truly Madly. OB (3) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Just Magic, excellent proportions & type, good head although to be critical she could be stronger in muzzle. Very good body & excellent tail. Moved really well. RCC; 2 Hurrion’s Ch Villassa Cherry Ripple, a bit longer than 1, nice head but a bit heavy in ear. OK coat & moved very well; 3 Zanussi’s It Ch Oroboro Hasta La Vista, nice head, good body & tail, OK coat, not as good in movement as 1 & 2. GCB (0). RENÉE SPORRE-WILLES |
