NORFOLK JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 14
All have super temperaments. I found quite a few to be rather long in the back.
Puppy – Dog (2,1)
1 Jenkins’ Krisma Flashback to Kinsridge, chunky pup who has a lengthy stride, holding his topline. Lovely head, strong muzzle. Super expression. Lengthy neck. Slightly forward in shoulder and a little wide in front action, but time for this to tighten. Well sprung ribs. Well made rear. Just very slightly long in back, but a quality pup. BP & PG4.
Junior – Dog (3,0)
1 Gee’s Watercroft In A Pickle, really typy dog who moves and shows so well. Masculine head, correct stop, well set ears. Enough neck. Could have better laid shoulders & a longer upper arm. Super rib & body. Liked his shortness of back. Well set tail. Thick & harsh coat. Low hocks; 2 Atkinson’s Blakens I Look To You, very playful pup with much to like. Has a good head, lovely eye & expression. Well angled front & rear. Just a little longer than
2. Went well once was settled. In good coat;
3 Lloyd’s Orison Midnight Myth.
Post Graduate – Dog (3,2)
1 Atkinson’s Blakens Sugar Candy Dips, lovely chunky type of dog with a short back. Pleasing head. Dark eyes. Enough neck. Slightly forward in front assembly & rather wide & short stepping in front. Super ribs. Level topline. Tail well set. Liked his rear, which he uses very well. Super jacket.
Limit – Dog (2,0)
1 Phillips’ Blakens The Kandy Man Kan, lovely dog, super outline. Liked his masculine head, well balanced skull to muzzle, which has strength. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder. Deep chest, well ribbed, short loin. Firm topline. Would prefer a better tail carriage, but set is OK. Could have just a little more hind angulation. Low hocks. Very good mover. Super jacket. CC & BOB, champion on the day & then G2, well done;
2 Haynes’ Cracknor Cut A Caper, different type of dog, long all through. Would like a shorter muzzle. Good eye & expression. Fair neck. Well sprung rib. Coat could be harsher. Liked his profile gait.
Open – Dog (3,0)
1 Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Seduction, typy dog. Liked his head, correct width of skull. Well set ears. Lengthy neck. Well laid shoulders, could be longer in upper arm & slightly untidy coming towards. Well sprung ribs. Short loin. Correct length of back. Well set tail, but carried a bit flat to back. Well bend stifle, low hocks. Lengthy stride. In super coat. RCC;
2 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Quids In, harsh coat, which is just coming in nicely. Pleasing head. Liked his width of skull. Enough neck. Firm front. Just slightly long cast, but has well sprung ribs. Rear matches his front;
3 Haynes’ Cracknor Cut A Caper.
Puppy – Bitch (2,0)
1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Tip, very feminine bitch, won on being shorter in back. Feminine head, liked her balance of muzzle to skull, great big teeth. Lengthy neck, flowing into a firm topline. Well laid shoulder, short in upper arm and just lifts her front feet a little high as yet. Well sprung ribs. Low hocks. Super jacket;
2 Saltmarsh’s Pipridges Holly, well balanced & good angulation on this bitch. Feminine head, dark eyes. Lengthy neck. Slightly untidy in front as yet. She is just a little longer in back than 1. Low hocks. Harsh jacket.
Junior – Bitch (3,0)
Two lovely young bitches head this class, with not a lot to separate them.
1 Hurrion’s Villassa Star Turn, liked her outline, short back. Good width of skull, liked her eyes. Could have a little more strength to muzzle. Long neck. Well laid shoulder. Super body. Tail is slightly low set but carries well. Rear OK. Moves very well. Well trimmed;
2 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Summer Crunch, shapely bitch, would maybe just like a little more strength to her head, even for a small feminine bitch. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder. Can just firm very slightly in front. Well sprung ribs. Liked her hind angulation. Tail could be slightly better. In harsh jacket;
3 Gardener’s Perrisblu Liberty at Danalas.
Post Graduate – Bitch (1,0)
1 Howard’s Hatchwoods Last Tango, lots to like about this typy bitch. Coat starting to blow. Dark eyes. Nice width of skull. Lengthy neck. Well balanced in angulation. Well sprung ribs. Liked her hind angulation.
Limit – Bitch (3,0)
1 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tia, won class on her shortness of back. Feminine head. Good eye & expression. Fair length of neck. Would like a better shoulder. Big ribs. Well bent stifle & low hocks. Could be in better coat. Best mover in class;
2 Howard’s Hatchwoods Flamenco, liked her head, dark eyes & well set ears. Good neck. Coat is quite full. Longer than 1 but shorter than 3. Could have more hind angulation;
3 Saltmarsh’s Pipridges Hazel.
Open – Bitch (4,1)
1 Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Just Magic, super for type. Liked her shortness of back here. Feminine head. Dark eyes. Correct neck. Could have slightly better shoulder & feet. Super ribs. Short loin. Well set & carried tail. Very good rear. Moves well. In super coat CC;
2 Phillips, Gullick & Tate’s Ch Jaeva Play The Ace, loved her head. Eyes could be a shade darker. Long neck. Fair shoulder, slightly short in upper arm & is a bit narrow in front. Just a slightly longer than 1 & could be firmer in topline. Well bent stifle. Low hocks. In super coat. Ideal tail. RCC;
3 Gee’s Watercroft Top Of The Pops.
