NORFOLK BOURNEMOUTH 13 Judge: Mrs F Chapman-King BEST OF BREED : 368 PHILLIPS, Mr M & CRADDOCK, Mr M & COLLINS Mr J Fontanesi Golden Chalice With Jaeva NORFOLK JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 13 Norfolk Terriers VD (0). PD (4) 1 Ellis' Brymarden Snow Patrol, immature red of 10 months, needs time to finish. OK in skull, fair forehand & ribbing, well off for bone, pleasing coat. Touch long in coupling, could have better head proportions. JD (1) 1 Phillips, Gullick & Tate's Jaeva Cufflink, typical & quality red with excellent head & eye, good bone & outline, short backed, level topline, tail on top. In cracking good order & showed non stop. Promising prospect. Just needs to mature & finish in body. Close up in the challenge. PGD (2) 1 Sant's Nordalset Look To The Future, masculine red of good proprtions & substance, well off for bone, pleasing skull & ear, good in body & in good coat, moved out well going, a touch wide at elbows coming too. Would like a darker eye; 2 Haynes' Cracknor Cut A Caper, red, pleasing head proportions, eye could be darker. Reluctant on the move & coat blown, rather long coupled. LD (3) 1 Newton's Penmire Makori at Strathinver, red, good skull & overall pleasing head & expression, well off for bone, ribbed up & of good body & substance, in good coat & order, moved out well going away. Could have better tail & be shorter in back; 2 Stones' Cerasus The Jazz Singer, b/t, good in body & ribbing. Failed in head to 1, out of coat. OD (4) 1 Phillips, Craddock & Collins' Fontanesi Golden Chalice with Jaeva, typical & quality red of good size & substance, classic head & expression, lovely outline, good layback, short back, level topline, well ribbed up, in excellent coat & order, showed well, moved out well on the go around & going, could tighten up coming too. CC & BOB; 2 Newton's Strathinver Smart Enough, pleasing & typical red of larger type than 1 but in proportion, lovely head & eye, forehand & quarters, level topline, good ribbing. Not at 1 with his handler & not the finish in coat & presentation of 1. RCC, when he moves is sound; 3 Green's Wharfvalley Diamond Star. VB (0). PB (4) 1 Macartney's Nordalset Little Bit Of Sun, immature b/t, fair head & good quarters, scores in head, body & coat over 2, does not want to grow on; 2 Green's Wharfvalley Wild Child, red, rather immature & needs time to come together. Good in quarters, out of coat, has time to finish, very much the baby here. JB (5) 1 Howard's Hatchwoods Last Tango, red of excellent type, lovely head & eye, good in body, substance & bone, level topline, ribbed up, excellent forehand. In quality jacket & is sound, mouth fault. Won through here on her many good breed points; 2 Smith's Javidel Definitely Maybe, b/t, not the head of 1, pleasing in body & quarters, in good coat, moved well; 3 Gee's Watercroft Top Of The Pops. PGB (5) 1 Thompson-Morgan's Belleville Just Magic, red of excellent type, typical feminine head, good width skull, keen alert expressive eye, correct layback, level topline, plenty of bone & substance, ribbed up, good quarters, plenty of style & presence, moved out soundly all ways, close up in the challenge. Quality prospect, good size. BP & RCC; 2 Wellstead's Brickin True Gem, b/t, sound & typical bitch of good substance, godo in body, in godo coat & order. Not the head of 1. LB (1) 1 Howard's Hatchwoods Flamenco, overall typical red, pleasing feminine head, excellent expression, good in body & substance, pleasing tail, good quarters, moved out well enough. Out of coat which cost her in the challenge. OB (5) Good class. 1 Hurrion's Ch Villassa Cherry Ripple, light red, all Norfolk, typical feminine head, good width skull, keen eye, well placed ears, pleasing forehand, good bone, sort back, good substance & ribbing, strong quarters, tail on top, mature & finished picture, moved soundly with drive. CC; 2 Thompson-Morgan's Belleville Silk Slippers, typical red, super coat & presentation, lots of style & showed non stop, excellent angulation, good body & ribbing, so sound on the move.
