I was delighted with my entry and the quality of the exhibits entered under myself. I thank the exhibitors for giving me the opportunity to judge their lovely breed.

PD (2)

1 Jenkins' Kinsridge Tip Off. Being more mature than my second, 10 months old. Impressive on the stance being of good small structure and good conformation with a real twinkle in his eye. Smart well coated head, slightly rounded wide skull into good wedge shape with strong short muzzle, jaw and tight lips. Nice V ear shape and set, dark eyes with real expression, nice fill-in under his eyes. Head held well on strong moderate neck with rough coat to shoulders, nicely angulated front with good depth and width to chest, short powerful straight legs and tight feet. Lovely level, short, compact back with ribs well back into short strong loin. Having a short wirey textured well presented red jacket. Hindquarters with strength, nice return of stifle and short hocks. True sound movement with good forward reach and powerful rear drive for one so young. BPD, BPiB. Shortlisted in very nice Terrier Puppy Group.

2 Powell's Watercroft Brown Boots. Just a baby of 6 months, out to enjoy his day and well handled to get him standing and showing well. Nice head shape needing to develop, slightly rounded skull with enough width, his V shaped ears nicely hung, dark sparkling alert eyes correct, stop, wedge shape down to his muzzle, correct dentition, brows and head furnishings coming. Good length of neck, nice shoulders into a slightly long back. Lower set tail carried up in a slight curl. At present a little long in leg needing more strength of bone, tight feet. Enough body needing a little more depth and substance to fill into his frame, ribs to go further back. Strong hindquarters, nice return to stifle and straight hocks. Presented well with harsh texture coming to his short Red coat. Little loose at front but rear action was quite positive and sound.

1 Gee's Watercroft Calling Card. Very smart, small, stylishly built 14 months old masculine boy with a superior outline with a compact body and lovely conformation. Correct broad skull on his stunning shaped and worked head with width between his dropped forward moderately V shaped ears, cheeky dark expressive eyes under slight brows, good fill in under eyes, good stop, wedge shape to muzzle with strength, tight lips. Strong moderate neck with nice ruff into laid back shoulders nicely angulated front with depth and width to chest. Short back line firm and strong, high set and correctly carried tail. Lovely to go over with a well sprung back rib cage into a short strong loin, good depth, width and substance to a strongly made body covered in a wirey harsh rich red coat so well presented. Short straight strongly boned forelegs and muscular hindquarters good return of stifle, straight hocks, round tight nicely padded feet, extrovert character showing great style on the move with good sound reach at front and such powerful drive from the rear. BD, BOS.

2 Smith's Javidel Mayde To Order. Presents a nice small outline on the stance looking to have good confirmation, a good shape and size and having substance and depth. Masculine furnished head not quite the strength of my winner, with enough breadth of skull well set and hung ears which sit well, just inclined to be a little flyaway, oval shaped dark eyes with good expression, nice wedge shaped to strong jaw and tight lips. Moderate furnished neck to shoulders with good front angulation and short well boned legs of strength well padded. Firm backline with little length over a body with substance with ribs well sprung could be further back slightly longer in loin. Strong hindquarters stifle could have more return to stifle. This 15 month old has a lovely harsh wirey textured red coat, well presented. Good forward reach just a little loose at present, pushes well from behind not quite to side stride of my winner.

PGD (2)

1 Philip's Nordalset Festivities. Small, compact frame with nice conformation, having a lovely free stance. Smart headpiece, correctly moulded skull, good width between his well set and hung ears, dark oval eyes with keen intelligent expression under good brows. Slight wedging shape down to his strong muzzle with tight lips. Neck furnished with wiry coat to shoulders well angled to fore chest with depth. Firm level short back to high set tail, over a short well sprung back ribbed compact body with depth. Strong hindquarters, correct return of stifle and strongly boned short legs and padded feet. Harsh short well presented coat in excellent condition. Very true moving boy with a good forward reach and powerful smooth drive with excellent side stride.

2 Walker's Roxypark Springtime. Slightly taller than my winner with a little more length in his back loosing that compact look. Strong skull with good width between his ears, well set on but a little fly away and unsettled. Nice stop, oval bright look to dark eyes, short strong muzzle with whiskers, tight lips. Strong level back to well set tail, a body with substance and depth with a short rib cage and just too long in loin. Well angulated front with good depth to chest straight strongly boned short legs, tight compact feet. Hindquarters with more moderate return of stifle, hocks let down, moved out well little loose at front, rear action slightly stilted so not as positive on the side stride as my winner.
