NORFOLK BORDER UNION 19 Judge(s): MRS D DORKINS (LOWMITA) DCC CH WATERCROFT CALLING TIME (MRS R GEE) Thank you everyone for such a lovely entry. I feel honoured to be able to judge your beautiful Norfolks. The weather was kind to us so we were able to show out side. The ring was not to bad, grass was short but ground a little bumpy in places. I enjoyed judging this quality entry. All the exhibits had lovely temperaments and showed happily. Overall quality was excellent and of good type, moving soundly most with good angulation and covering the ground well. A few exhibits could have had better bites. Tail carriage is improving I am glad to say. I watched my BOB and Best Puppy in the groups. Both looked stunning and did us proud. The puppy getting PG2 in a lovely line-up. PD (4) 1 Gee’s Watercroft To Coin A Phrase. Fell in love with this young man. Solidly built with great bone. Correctly proportioned head and neat ears. Dark well shaped eye making a lovely expression. Super front and strong hind quarters, which he uses to advantage. Great spring of rib, good reach of neck leading to well laid shoulders. His coat is prepared to perfection. Best puppy. Res CC. Puppy Group 2. 2 Smith’s Javidel Mayde To Order. Very smart, and well made with good hind quarters and moved soundly both ways. Pleasing head and expression. A little finer built, just needs to mature a little and fill out. 3 Simpson’s Brickin Wish Me Luck At Megalex. Such a happy show man in full coat of good texture. Loved his head so classic and typy. Looked a little stuffy in neck at the moment, but when he loses his puppy fat could be fine. JD (2) 1 Stevenson’s Capps Smart Excuse By Brickin. His coat is of great texture. He shows tons of promise. 2 Newton’s Strathinver Time To Star. Well bodied in full coat which made him look a little stuffy but under that good textured coat he is well made.
