NORFOLK JUDGE BORDER UNION 18
Many thanks for the opportunity to judge at this lovely show, and the Norfolk fraternity for such a quality entry. And I want to thank my very able steward, a much maligned breed these days.
PD 2
1st Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Crumble Topping, lovely type, well balanced throughout with good head and expression, good rib and loin, moved out well, had to give way to his sister for best puppy.
2nd Atkinson’s Moortop Mymark Again, another lovely puppy with qualities equal to the winner, sadly not yet as confident.
JD 3-1
1st Gee’s Watercroft Calling Time, smart boy, well on his toes, lovely head with dark eye, straight front with good bone,
well muscled throughout, correct rear angulation which showed in his movement
2nd Newton’s Strathinvar Star Of Fortune, in outline a super shape, but was not happy today, so I won’t comment further, and damn a lovely dog, really hope it was a short term scare.
PGD 4
1st Darnell’s Jacquidon Tough As A Nut, lots to like, good head with dark eye, straight front, well bodied with firm loin, good rear angulation, well presented in good jacket, moved out well.

OD 3
1st Stevenson’s CH Bricken Pot Of Pickle, always thought this boy was quality, and he didn’t disappoint, well put together, lovely head with a wicked glint to his eyes, angulation fore and aft was faultless, well sprung rib and strong loin, presentation was superb, but it was his movement that clinched it, his drive and reach in profile was a joy to watch, a worthy champion. CC, BOB and a well deserved G4
2nd Hurrion & Standen’s Villassa Jack Be Quick, lovely type, head and expression very appealing, well angulated fore and aft, good bone and muscle, strength in body, presented in super coat, moved out well. Res DCC
