NORFOLK BORDER UNION 10 Judge(s) MR A WESTWOOD DCC PENMIRE WILD BRAMBLE BY BRICKIN (MRS J R STEVENSON) Norfolk Terriers PD (5) 1 Atkinson’s Wharfvalley Diamond Bright at Moortop, forward puppy, excellent head, eye & expression, strong neck, straight front, short back, nice size, in grand coat & condition, moved well; 2 Phillip’s Jaeva Well I’ll Be Darned at Nordalset, a good puppy, lots to like. Not as good in shoulder as 1; 3 Green’s Wharfvalley Diamond Star. JD (4) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Extra Smart, well named, excellent for type, good in head, dark eyes with alert expression, shoulders good, level topline, moved with drive; 2 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Gun, excellent head, muzzle strong, dark eyes, ears of a good size, could have used them a little more at times. Nice size, short in back, moved OK, excellent coat & condition; 3 Gullick & Oliver’s Jaeva Roger The Butler. PGD (2) 1 Riley’s Lastarean Chek Mate at Millstrand, excellent type, good head & ears, grand front & feet, short backed, moved well; 2 Waters’ Southpoint Dantes Inferno, good head type, straight front, good layback of shoulder. Could have a touch better tailset. Moved & shown well. LD (3,2a) 1 Stevenson’s Penmire Wild Bramble by Brickin, beautiful head, dark eyes with good expression, strong neck with good reach, straight front, short in back with well ribbed body, good turn of stifle, moved very well. Could have had a touch more coat to finish the picture, but a worthy CC winner. OD (2) 1 Phillips & Tate’s Jaeva Pocket Rocket, good type, nice size, good head & ears, nice expression, short backed, moved well & shown expertly. RCC; 2 Wilson’s Sheltrice Dash Of Magic, looked well for age, in good coat & condition, moved well. PB (5,2) 1 Hitchen’s Kreatin Kiss N Tell, lovely puppy, good type, excellent head, eye & expression, strong neck, good shoulder placement, short backed, in top coat & condition, has a bright future; 2 Green’s Wharfvalley Diamond Diva, a good puppy, has all the attributes of 1 but just lost out in head; 3 McCullough’s Kinsridge Party Piece at Kimmax. JB (4,2) 1 Phillips & Tate’s Jaeva Hells Fury, took my eye on entering the ring, out of the top drawer, very pretty, nice size, excellent head, eyes & expression, good ears, correct shoulder placement, compact with short back, moved & shown well. CC & BOB; 2 Hurrion’s Villassa Top Totty, shade bigger than 1 but had good head & excellent shoulders, moved & shown well. PGB (7,1) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Neat & Tidy, excellent bitch, top quality, good head, eye & ears, straight front, good in shoulder, short backed with well sprung ribs, moved & handled well, in good coat & condition. RCC, won a good class; 2 Hitchen & Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville, good type, correct head & ears, short with well muscular quarters, moved well; 3 Simpson’s Megalex Elusive Dream. LB (3,1) 1 Hurrion’s Valentines Cherry Crumble, nice type, excellent head, good front, round feet, good shoulders, moved well showing all the time; 2 Harris’ Forbidden Fruit at Rouletta, good type. Not the head & expression of 1. Short backed with good turn of stifle, moved & showed well. OB (2,1) 1 Claydon’s Brymarden Copper Kettle, very pretty bitch, nice size, dark eyes with nice expression. Would like more strength in muzzle. Straight front, correct feet, good neck & shoulders, in good coat, moved well. |
