NORFOLK BLACKPOOL 26 Judge: Mrs Sonia Connell JD (2/1) 1 Belleville Turn The Tables (Thompson Morgan) Ten month old who is good for size and shape. Her head proportions and expression is typical and her forehand is correctly angulated, short and level top line to a good tail set and well-turned quarters which are well developed in muscle tone for her age. She was presented in lovely order and moved true both ways. BPIB and pleased to hear she won PG4 & JG4. OD (3/1) 1 Champion Watercroft Easy Tiger (Gee) I have recently judged this male in a terrier group and all I said about him then still applies today. He is good for size, bone and substance and is extremely sound in his front and rear movement. He has lovely head proportions portraying a typical expression, A well angulated forehand, short and level back to a good set on, super spring of rib and short coupled. He was presented in super condition and never stopped showing BOB and I was delighted to watch him win terrier group 4. 2 Champion Layhefields Great Ridge by Belleville Another lovely type who is good for size and portrays a balanced outline. His head proportions are good, and he has a keen expression. Nicely angulated front and enough neck into shoulders set well back, good spring of rib and level topline to a good tail set. Nicely angulated quarters and presented in lovely order. Moved soundly out and back. JB (4/2) 1 Watercroft Sticky Wicket (Gee) Nice for size and outline, lovely head and expression and enough neck into shoulders set well back with enough length and return of upper arm to frame her brisket. Her back is short and level to her well carried tail, but I would prefer a higher tail set. Strong quarters and moved with good reach and drive with correct footfall and was presented in lovely condition. 2 Watercroft Tittle Tattle at Tamodan (Mullans) A promising youngster with a nice head of correct proportions portraying a typical expression. Her forelegs are straight and well boned, and her quarters are well angulated, I preferred the shoulder placement of the winner. Good topline and tail set and moved with good reach and drive. OB (3/1) 1 Watercroft Stitch In Time (Gee) A lovely bitch for bone and substance while maintaining her femininity, her head is typical and of desired proportions with eyes and ears of the correct size, shape and placement to enhance her expression. She has nicely angulated front and quarters and carries a short and level back. Her correctly textured jacket was expertly presented, and she moved soundly both ways, BB 2 Belleville Counting Star (Morgan Thompson) Another lovely bitch who has a very typical head and expression, super front assembly, short and level back, lovely spring of ribs extending well back to a short loin, good set on, and well-turned quarters. She was presented in lovely condition; however something appeared to upset her on the move and she would not settle in the class. I called her in to challenge for reserve best bitch and was more composed and focused on the job. I am sure these two lovely bitches will swap places many times in the future. Sonia Connell |
