NORFOLK JUDGE BLACKPOOL 25

I would like to thank Mr Steve W Hall and the Officers and Committee for their kind invitation and to my steward Mr Kevin Gill who kept things running smoothly. More importantly, my appreciation to the exhibitors, allowing me to judge such a lovely, quality entry of 10 dogs making a total entry of 12 entries. This breed was without CCs

1 Gee – Ch Watercroft Easy Tiger JW Red, 15 months old, young masculine dog of outstanding quality, caught my eye from the moment he walked into the ring, very typy, well proportioned attractive head, skull broad, well defined stop, well placed ears, dark eyes, lovely strong neck, excellent pigmentation, complete scissor bite mouth with large teeth, straight front, correct coat texture, good tail carried jauntily, moved well, lovely outline, alert temperament, presented in excellent condition. As always from this clever breeder, who always support the open shows when no cc are on offer. Without breeders like this exhibitor, the up and coming judges would not get the opportunity to go over such quality dogs. Thank you. Best Dog & Best Of Breed. Later went on to win the Terrier Junior Group under Mrs Jenny Miller.

2 Thompson-Morgan – Layhefields Great Ridge By Belleville Red, 11 months old, another nice exhibit but unfortunately not having a puppy class, lost out to a super dog that was more mature on the day, which you would expect, lovely head, nice ears and expression, very short and cobby, full of beans, very nice head and expression, good mover and presented in lovely condition.

PGD (1)

1 Gee – Watercroft Time Flies Red, 7 months old, stood proudly alone, well balanced head, good skull and well carried ears, good pigmentation, complete scissor bite mouth, correct coat texture, nice tailset, alert temperament, moved well, lovely outline, presented in good condition, nice movement with good drive behind, didn’t seem to feel the heat at all, still very much a baby.

OD (1)

1 Gee – Watercroft Goldfinch Red, just turned 12 months old, absolutely stood out for quality and breed type, so lovely to go over, excellent dog, muzzle wedge shaped, stop well defined, dark, oval shaped eyes, strong neck, of medium length, short back, level topline, compact body, good turn of stifle, has such ring presence and moves so soundly, difficult to fault when he is on this form, his presentation was immaculate, delighted to award him Reserve Best Dog.

JB (4,2)

1 Gee – Watercroft Tiger Lilly Red, This feminine girl, just turned 15 months old, excellent size, sturdy who coped well with the heat, lovely typy head and expression, compact cobby body, tail carried correctly, true and low and driving with level topline, so very stylish and sound, lovely to go over when stood on the table, typical head proportions, good rear quarters, coat just at the age when they are about to lose their coat, hard to fault with her elegant well balanced and proportioned youngster, who shows herself to best advantage. Another put down in superb condition as always from this kennel. Pleased to award her Best Bitch & Best Opposite Sex. Litter mate to my Best Dog.

2 Glynn – Kenberlynn Chance To Dream Red, 7 months old, very showy, real little livewire, looked to be at her first show, nice head, lovely ears and expression, very short cobby body, tail on top at all times, shown in very nice condition. Reserve Best Bitch
