I was supposed to judge this breed two years ago but am delighted today to have the opportunity. Having a nice entry within this lovely breed for my first time giving tickets, I was pleased with the quality and the numbers. I had some nice comments made about my judging and decisions. VD (1) 1 Nash’s Ralph Of House Nash ShCEx. Just into 7 years old, this is a smart looking male. I liked his breed type having a lovely compact body with plenty of substance giving him correct depth. Masculine developed head of correct shape well set and carried ears, dark expressive eyes, stop, correct muzzle well furnished. Nice neck into well laid shoulders firm backline to correct set on tail. Well presented wiry coat of correct texture and having undercoat. Nicely angulated front and rear. Short well boned legs and tight feet. Very sound free mover with happy tail carriage. Best Veteran. Delighted to see him win Best Terrier Veteran on the day. PD (2) 1 Gee’s Watercroft Neat And Dandy. Very handsome 11 months youngster fills the standard nicely with well developed and furnished head, neat well set and carried ears, kind alert dark eyes, good stop and muzzle and jaw. Head held well on a strong neck, clean into shoulders with firm broad backline with well rooted tail. Strong well ribbed body with substance and depth short loin. Good depth of chest and return of stifle both ends well angled. Lovely textured red coat having presentation and condition. Strong short well boned legs and tight round feet moved out soundly covering the ground. BPD. 2 Britten’s Krisma Snap Chat. Correct head shape to this 9 months pup, not as forward as my winner but having 2 months of age difference. Ears well placed but not settled, expressive dark eyes, more stop needed. Short strong neck into well laid back shoulders, firm top line to well rooted tail carried with slight curl. Well bodied not as muscular as first, having depth and ribs well sprung back. Nicely presented in a harsh red textured coat. Well angled both ends, short well boned legs and tight feet. Good ground coverage. PGD (2) 1 Mullan & McFadden’s Watercroft Pop Muzik At Tamodan. Correctly shaped and balance to this smart small looking red wiry coated male. Correct size to this compact dog just carrying little weight today. Good broad skull with nice width between his ears. Nice wedge shape to his muzzle with good stop. Strong moderate neck with ruff, into well laid back shoulders and short level back, over well sprung body. Well angulated front and rear, short well boned legs and nicely rounded feet, Stylish sound mover nice front action and powerful rear. Nice tail carriage. 2 Davis’ Watercroft Earl Grey. Nice looking but a slightly bigger dog than my winner and on going over was carrying far too much weight. Masculine broad head, nice width between his well carried ears, nice eyebrows over dark eyes, and good stop. I would like more neck into his shoulders, enough angulation to his front, well ribbed body. Firm level backline nice tail carriage. Well presented coat just needs to be harsher. Well developed hindquarters. Short well boned legs well coated, strong round feet. Moved out and showed well and was so sound coming and going. LD (2, 1) 1 Tate’s Jaeva Dream Come True. Small compact shape to this 18 months red in excellent harsh coat with good undercoat. Masculine look to his broad head with good width between his medium sized ears. Alert look to his dark eyes under nice eyebrows. Would like more stop. Correct wedge shape to his muzzle, little bit of summer nose. Proud head carriage on good moderate neck would like more ruff, well laid back shoulders, firm short back, correct erect tail position. Well angulated front and sprung ribs with good depth to body. Short strong legs and tight round feet, moved out well with good forward reach and rear drive from strong hindquarters. OD (2) 1 Gee’s Watercroft Boozy Miller. This kennel manages to produce a lovely type of animal and this is another who caught my attention on entering the ring. He has a real presence and showmanship. Holds a proud head carriage, which is correctly shaped, good width between his well placed and used ears, defined stop separates his dark oval shaped alert eyes with a cheeky look, nice covering from his eyebrows. Strong wedge shaped muzzle correct dentition. Nice ruff to his moderate neck set well into laid back shoulders, firm short backline, rooted erect tail with happy action. Small build with a compact body having substance and good depth with sprung ribs. Correctly presented in a close red hard wiry textured jacket, correct undercoat. Well angulated front and rear with excellent muscle tone, short strongly boned legs, round well padded feet. Very happy free easy mover with good reach and rear drive and so very sound. BD, DCC, BOB. 2 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville High Life. Another well built compact dog of small size and shape. Correctly rounded masculine head with nice width between his correctly set and dropped ears, defined stop, oval expressive eyes, slight brows. Medium length to strong neck good ruff around, well laid back shoulders firm level back to his rooted tail. Well angulated both ends of a compact body, well sprung ribs, lovely red jacket having a slightly longer length than my winner of wiry texture and lovely presentation. Short well boned legs and round tight feet. Moved out soundly a free mover. For a moment lost his confidence over something which slightly dropped his tail on the move, but once settled regained himself. Well worthy of RDCC. Sp Beg D/B (2) 1 1 Nash’s Tiggy Of House Nash. Very attractive and feminine bitch, 4 years old a lovely, compact small size. Attractive slightly small but correctly furnished head, broad skull with good width between her dropped ears. Defined stop separates her oval shaped bright eyes. Correct balance to wedge shaped muzzle. Medium length to neck well laid back shoulders, with firm short back to a rooted erect tail. Nicely angulated compact well ribbed body covered in a nicely presented B/Tan wirey coat with good undercoat. Well muscled throughout, good strong well boned short legs. Powerful mover with reach and rear driving action. BSB and winner of SBT. I understand she won the SB stakes. 2 Walker’s Watercroft Golden Spice. Happy on the stance working well with er handler. I would like a little more strength to her pretty coated small head, having good width between her well set on ears. Would like more stop. Has a pretty expression to her dark eyes. Good length of neck slight ruff, firm longer backline with slight rise to her well rooted tail carried erect. Enough body with substance and well ribbed little long in loin. Well presented and conditioned red wirey coat with correct undercoat. Straight short legs, round feet. Well angulated and muscled front and back which shows in her movement which is very sound with reach and powerful rear drive. VB (2) 1 Lloyd’s Orison Calm Attitude. MPB (2) 1 Tate’s Jaeva Bright As A Button. A delightful puppy who caught my attention as she entered the ring, full of character and a real showgirl with all the good breed points in one small package. Delightful head of correct size and shape, correctly hung ears, sweet alert dark eyes. Nice wedge shape to her muzzle with correct dentation. Good neck length laid back shoulders, firm straight short back to her erect tail. Correctly angled both ends of her small compact body, well ribbed back. Very well presented wiry wheaten jacket with good undercoat. Short well boned legs and small round feet, for her age, was so very sound and a positive mover with correct reach and powerful rear drive. BPB. Shortlisted in the Group. 2 Gee’s Watercroft Treacle Toffee. I loved the look of this puppy, another with a character. A small compact build having a small broad feminine slightly rounded head, nice width between her ears, defined stop, pretty look to her expressive dark eyes small brows over. Correctly shaped wedged muzzle, correct dentition. Moderate neck to well laid back shoulders. Lovely firm and level short back well rooted erect tail. Correctly presented rich red jacket, wirey touch with good undercoat. Forequarters with well angled front to short legs well boned. Good body but I felt she was carrying too much weight which made her look a little too deep. Hindquarters with good angulation, short hocks, tight round feet. Sound mover with reach and drive. At 8 months has a good future. PB (1) 1 Jenkins’Kinsridge Songbird. 10 months young lady full of character enjoying her day out just needing to settle on the stance. Presented very well in a wiry rich wheaten coat with a nice undercoat. Feminine head of correct shape, positioned ears, defined stop, lovely dark alert eyes giving expression from under little eyebrows. Correct shape to her muzzle. Holds head proudly on a moderate length of neck, well laid back into her shoulders. Short back well held on the stance to her tail. Cobby body well ribbed back with short loin. Correctly angled both ends, short boned legs and round feet. Happy mover just needs to settle as rear movement has drive but little close, forward action is sound. JB (1) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Dare To Dream. An attractive 16 month old young bitch with a happy temperament enjoying her day out and standing well showing off a nice compact outline. Having a pretty correctly shaped head with good detail, a shaped skull and nicely hung ears. Good look to her dark alert eyes with slight brows. Holds herself well on a good neck well laid shoulders, good front angulation. Short level back well held to a rooted erect tail. A compact, cobby body in good condition with depth and well sprung ribs well back. Hindquarters well muscled, good return of stifle and let down hocks. Good condition and presentation to the wiry texture of her wheaten jacket with nice undercoat. Short well boned legs, round feet a very positive movement with correct action. YB (1) 1 Gee’s Watercroft In The Que. This beautiful nearly 2 year old caught my eye as she entered the ring and did not disappoint in going over her. Lovely compact outline of the correct size and balanced shape, presented in a straight wiry textured jacket of a rich red. Love her delightful small head with her attractive eyebrows over her very expressive dark eyes set well, neatly hung ears. Correctly defined stop. Limited furnishing to her muzzle. Her neck fits well into her laid back shoulders, short, level back to her erect tail, over her cobby compact deep body so well ribbed back into her short loin. Well muscled throughout, deep angled forechest, straight short well boned legs to round feet. Hindquarters strongly developed and turned stifle, well let down hocks. Had a very powerful, sound stylish free movement which she showed here and in the challenge which gave her the BCC, BOS. PGB (3) 1 Tate’s Jaeva What The Hell. Stood working well with her handler this bitch completes the small compact picture I was looking for and going over has lots to like about her. Excellent head size and shape, nice skull and width between her hung ears, sweet dark alert eyes, correct wedge shape to her muzzle with slight furnishings. Nice neck length, correct depth of chest. Short straight level backline to her rooted erect tail, over a body with enough substance and good depth, well sprung ribs short loin. Very attractive, nicely presented in a conditioned well marked B/T wirey coat lying close, with correct undercoat. Quarters with good stifle and let down hocks. Short well boned legs and round feet. Moved out well with good flow front and back. RCC. 2 Jones’ Javidel May Blessing At Darlaur. Another compact bitch of the correct size and compact build. Attractive on the stack this well marked B/T has a wirey coat that is not in quite the excellent presentation of my winner. Smart feminine head with a good skull, ear set could be better. Pretty dark kind oval eyes. Holds head well on a good length of neck, well set into shoulders into a short level back, and well held tail. Compact body carrying little too much extra weight showing in her depth and movement. Correctly angled front and rear, small well boned legs and small round feet. Moved happily but not with the power of the winner. 3 Watercroft Golden Spice. LB (3, 1) 1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Tippy Toes. Very typical compactly built feminine bitch with a lovely outline on the stance. Small sweet correctly developed head, good skull well set on hung ears. Pretty dark eyes kind expression, correctly furnished wedged muzzle. Holds head proudly on medium neck slight ruff, set well into her laid back shoulders. Topline level to her short firm back well rooted erect tail. Body with substance and depth well sprung ribs back into short loin. Beautiful double wheaten coat with wirey texture and in excellent presentation. Short well boned legs and tight round feet, sound stylish free mover with reach and powerful rear action. One to watch. 2 Tiggy Of House Nash. OB (1) 1 Gee’s Watercroft Gold Leav. Another beautiful bitch from this kennel, looked impressive across the ring and was just as nice to go over. Delightful smallish head, correct wide skull well hung ears. Bright keen dark oval eyes separated by a defined stop, wedge shaped muzzle, correctly furnished brows and beard. A proud head carriage held well on good neck length with slight ruff, which was set into laid-back shoulders. Has a short compact body, with firm level backline with a rooted erect tail. Her muscular body has substance and depth with sprung back ribs into a short loin. Beautiful presentation to her red wirey jacket of correct texture with a good undercoat. Lovely legs and feet, stylish mover who put on a good show. I looked at hard for the top honors but I had already fallen for her kennel mate In the Que. Jenny Miller Go To Top Of Page

I must thank Bath Committee for the invitation to judge at their well run Championship Show. I was supposed to judge this breed two years ago but am delighted today to have the opportunity. Having a nice entry within this lovely breed for my first time giving tickets, I was pleased with the quality and the numbers. I had some nice comments made about my judging and decisions.

VD (1)

1 Nash’s Ralph Of House Nash ShCEx. Just into 7 years old, this is a smart looking male. I liked his breed type having a lovely compact body with plenty of substance giving him correct depth. Masculine developed head of correct shape well set and carried ears, dark expressive eyes, stop, correct muzzle well furnished. Nice neck into well laid shoulders firm backline to correct set on tail. Well presented wiry coat of correct texture and having undercoat. Nicely angulated front and rear. Short well boned legs and tight feet. Very sound free mover with happy tail carriage. Best Veteran. Delighted to see him win Best Terrier Veteran on the day.

Very handsome 11 months youngster fills the standard nicely with well developed and furnished head, neat well set and carried ears, kind alert dark eyes, good stop and muzzle and jaw. Correctly rounded masculine head with nice width between his correctly set and dropped ears, defined stop, oval expressive eyes, slight brows. Medium length to strong neck good ruff around, well laid back shoulders firm level back to his rooted tail. Well angulated both ends of a compact body, well sprung ribs, lovely red jacket having a slightly longer length than my winner of wiry texture and lovely presentation. Short well boned legs and round tight feet. Moved out soundly a free mover. Nicely angulated compact well ribbed body covered in a nicely presented B/Tan wirey coat with good undercoat. Well muscled throughout, good strong well boned short legs. Powerful mover with reach and rear driving action. BSB and winner of SBT. I understand she won the SB stakes.

Topline level to her short firm back well rooted erect tail. Body with substance and depth well sprung ribs back into short loin. Beautiful double wheaten coat with wirey texture and in excellent presentation. Short well boned legs and tight round feet, sound stylish free mover with reach and powerful rear action. One to watch.

2 Tiggy Of House Nash.

Bright keen dark oval eyes separated by a defined stop, wedge shaped muzzle, correctly furnished brows and beard. A proud head carriage held well on good neck length with slight ruff, which was set into laid-back shoulders. Has a short compact body, with firm level backline with a rooted erect tail. Her muscular body has substance and depth with sprung back ribs into a short loin. Beautiful presentation to her red wirey jacket of correct texture with a good undercoat. Lovely legs and feet, stylish mover who put on a good show. I looked at hard for the top honors but I had already fallen for her kennel mate In the Que.
