MANCHESTER JUDGE WINDSOR 09

Manchester Terriers

Quality exhibits, all so well presented & in lovely condition.

PD (1)

1 Creber & Beardow’s Talanors Hellova Treat for Sipowitz, I liked this young puppies size & outline, correct head wedge shape, well marked, one ear needs to settle. Arched neck a little thick, needing time to refine. Well placed shoulders to firm topline, ribs well back into nice loin with tuck-up, good chest depth for age, super coat & condition, straight legs, strong correct arched feet. Tail carried a little gay on the move which was positive & sound. BP.

JD (1)

1 Leighs’ Sophyla Sorcerer of Mansiya, I understand that I judged this boy last year & he won over his litter sister who this time turned the tables on him, a very typical young male of excellent size & shape, in super coat, condition & with reaching, sound movement, masculine refined wedge shaped head, dark expressive eyes, lovely ears, held well, good graduation & arched neck into strong backline over a well ribbed body, straight forequarters from good angles, well turned stifles. BD & RBOB.

PGD (2)

1 Dale’s Megellan Rumble In Rattustrap, typical breed male with nice head of good shape, which I preferred to that of 2, ears a little unsettled. Super eye, expression & colour, good overall balance with depth, well sprung ribs, good angle, sound front action, but not so sound in rear movement, but did settle & appeared sound with nice side stride. Neat feet of strength, coat of good colour & in lovely condition. RBD;

2 St Clair’s Mimbre First Mate, well presented, nice size male, but not the overall strength & depth of 1. Would have liked more strength in his wedge shaped head & depth to his chest & ears need to settle. Good neck to shoulders, firm backline to tail well set. Moved out well, inclined to throw his elbows & toe in. Very sound behind.

V (2)

1 De Lavis-Trafford’s Ch Tyburn Faedra, only the two, this lovely typy bitch headed the class over a much older bitch, I loved her size & outline & still retaining her rich colours within her coat, sweet well shaped head, good eye colour & ear carriage, firm, well shaped body, nice ribs & depth, well coated, in excellent condition, moved out well on good legs & feet, sound;

2 O’Neil’s Alvediston Eclipse at Megellan, nice size & type to this 11 years bitch, still looking elegant, good condition. Just lacking the head shape of 1. Eye colour good & ears carried well, nice dentition. Starting to lose her coat colour & a little wide & loose at elbow. Nice legs, not the bone. Moved out well with a good stride.

PB (1)

1 Palmer’s Ealoshayla Tangleberry, alone, but what a very sweet & feminine type, liked her outline & has enough size for her age, at 9 months has developed a good head shape, nice earset, dark expressive eyes, well developed neck to shoulders, firm topline, nice boned legs & feet, lovely colour with correct points. Little loose at front & once she settled was sound with good action behind. Tail a bit too happy.

JB (5)

1 Leigh’s Sophyla Sally for Mansiya, headed a super class of typy bitches, lovely outline to this slightly taller bitch, but oh so feminine, great head shape with expressive dark eyes. One ear seemed a need to settle. Strong well arched neck, super shoulders, depth of chest & brisket, well ribbed & back, lovely body, well covered in super coal black jacket with good tan points, lovely angles both ends, straight well boned legs & neat feet, correct tail carriage, showed & moved out stylishly, great side stride & sound. BOB;

2 Thurlow’s Brenandi Genteel Gypsy at Erkenwyne, beautiful & very typical bitch with so much quality, sweet correct shaped head, eye colour a fraction lighter than 1. Nice neck, well arched, firm topline to tail, carried a little high on the move. Well developed & ribbed body, super coat & condition throughout, lovely colouring, correctly marked, super legs & feet, moved so soundly, I understand that I have judged this bitch before & did her well then. RBB;

3 O’Neil’s Megellan Thunder Bird.

PGB (2)

1 B Genteel Gypsy at E;

2 Loch’s Eaglespur Kiwi Shadow of Trenthyde, very nice outline, overall spoilt by carrying too much weight. Feminine head, nice expression, good neck to shoulder, very loose at front & throwing elbows out. Wide at front & rear, making movement difficult to judge. Straight well boned legs, neat feet, well coated & in nice condition.

LB (3)

1 De Lavis-Trafford’s Tyburn Lotis, very smart bitch with a typical outline & good overall size, true type head & lovely expression, dark eyes & well carried ears, firm topline, well ribbed back, nice depth, good angles, well coated & presented, very sound mover;

2 Brown & Arundel’s Browdel Beatrix Potter, I liked this pretty bitch’s outline, good head & well marked nice expression, one ear needs to settle. Correct topline to tail, over a good deep body, nice angles. Lacking a little in muscletone, which showed in her poor movement;

3 Smith’s Mansiya Midnight Graceful.

OB (1)

1 Eva’s’ Ch Sophyla Sable, very attractive 5 years, well presented, in good coat & condition, very feminine head, nice eye colour, pretty expression, spoilt slightly in my opinion by the lighter tan. Best ear carriage, well arched neck, correctly laid shoulders, firm topline, well ribbed body, depth & of good overall construction, well boned legs & neat feet, moved out with style, sound movement & nice side stride.
